Description: On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Good menu and great service. Upstairs is less hectic than down, but sometimes getting a downstairs table is easier. It is the best restaurant on Marriott property.

Ate here twice during our stay. The views are great, but the food is just okay. Had to send food back because it was cold and raw. Service was just okay.

Duke's is right off the shore of Kalapaki Beach. Try and sit in the open-aired covered patio so you can get a spectacular view of the ocean.

The food is tasty and so are the specialty drinks. The lava flows are my favorite!

We went to Duke's a couple of times on our trip and each time we went, we had excellent service.

Duke's has live entertainment during Happy Hour and later on at night. It is quite a treat to have a grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich while listening to Hawaiian music and looking out onto the ocean.

This place has a wonderful beach location and view, and amazing food. Don't forget the hula pie for dessert! It is big enough for 2 (or 3) to share.

Duke's theme is organized around the legendary Hawaiian who invented the sport of surfing. Duke was an amazing athlete, almost the "Jim Thorp of Hawaii", and it was very interesting to learn some history about Duke. The fish was good, but very expensive. You would expect an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean to be covered up with good seafood restaurants, but Kauai is not. I would go again when I feel like I have a lot of money to burn.
