Description: On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

“Delicious food, great atmosphere”
Reviewed October 30, 2012 via mobile

What a great place! I wish we had dined here more often during our stay in Kauai. Make sure you try the Hawaiian Pizza and Cashew Chicken! Top it off with a Piña Colada and enjoy the live music overlooking the beach.

“Not worth the hype”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Normally restaurants connected to Marriotts are great. This one was just ok. The food presentation was lackluster, the service was poor. The Hula pie, which they are known for was just ice cream with hard chocolate coating and whip cream. No big deal

“What a View!!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Have to dinner many times upstairs. My favorite is lunch downstairs, beachside, in the bar. The view is super and so is the people-watching. If it is very busy there might be a short wait to get the table you want, but the staff will do their best to make your wait as short as possiable. I have never been dissapointed in either the staff or the food. Both are consistantly superior, which is why I will keep comming back and always tell others to "just try it one time". Aloha

“Awesome...fresh Pina Coladas too!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Our first night in Kauai, the concierge at the Waldorf recommended Dukes. What a treat! We got there very early when they were opening (still on E. Coast time) and got an ocean table without a reservation. The food was fantastic and drinks were great. Get the fresh Pina Colada in the pineapple (was one of the best drinks of the trip). We also had a Free dessert coupon from the hotel for the Hula pie (ice cream pie with choc cookie bottom and syrup). YUM!!!

Our waitress was awesome and told us about one the best hiking spots we found on the trip.
