Description: Gaylord's offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Located on the ground floor of the historic Kilohana Plantation home, diners are seated around an open-air courtyard with views of the plantation grounds and Mt. Waialeale in the distance. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Our 67-acre sustainable farm provides much of the produce and herbs used in our dishes and cocktails. Menu items include starters like fresh Ahi Poke, Seafood Spring Rolls and Organic Greens Salads; Local Fish, Meat and Vegetarian Entrees; and Banana Cream Pie for Dessert! After your meal take a walk around the Kilohana grounds, shop in our assorted boutiques, visit the rum shop or take a ride on the plantation train. Join us at Gaylord's to enjoy the best of what Kauai has to offer in island food and experience. Call for reservations and details on weekly entertainment. Memorable by day...Unforgettable by Night.

We experienced the real spirit of Aloha at Gaylords at Kilohana thanks especially to the young man selling Kendamas he had hand painted with original designs. His smile was infectious as well as his conversation enjoyable and we were happy to support him in his sports endeavors by purchasing from him an item we know our son will enjoy. This young Hawaiian man is an asset to the property and imparts the real Hawaiian spirit of Aloha which is missing from so many. He was in no way "pushy" or attempting to make us feel sorry for him. I was saddened to see a review on Trip Advisor that talked badly about him and his endeavors. To give a bad review of the Luau at Kilohana or the restaurant because of an industrious boy when he had nothing to do with the food served or the service at the property and calling him a "con" in our opinion is mean spirited and wrong. Shame on them! Hope we see this young man again on our next trip to Kauai.

We had been recommended to this restaurant and it's a lovely spot. It's in an old sugar plantation house and has train rides during the day. The home is lovely. We sat outside (covered) and it was very romantic. The menu is varied and the food is very good. Nothing outrageously expensive or overly manipulated. It's just nice, tasty food. The service was very attentive.

What a great way to spend Mother's Day! We enjoyed an exceptional brunch buffet with a wide array of delicious offerings.

Gaylord's is located inside the Kilohana Plantation House. Besides enjoying the beauty of the home, there are many specialty shops to browse through. There is also a 45 minute train ride through the plantation grounds and rum tasting.

Thank Roxane J

Our once a year trip to Gaylord's at Kilohana did not disappoint.

We started off with two cocktails. I had the Plantation Ice Tea and my wife had a Freshtini, martini of the night....lillikoi based. Both were very good. We ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Spring Rolls. These are the best and the dipping sauce is wonderful. I had the sesame seared Ahi with Jasmine rice and Tempura Avacado all of which was one of the best dishes of the vacation. My wife had the grilled prawns over pasta with tomatoes, onions in a lobster cream sauce. She let me taste it and it was also top notch.

We have always loved the ambiance of the open courtyard setting at this restaurant.

I had driven past this place several days while on the island and wanted to give it a try. We were traveling with a large party of eight and they were able to accomidate us same day. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was fancy bur relaxed. We all enjoyed some wonderful appetizers but the caprese salad was the certainly the stary. My father-in-law who raises cattle remarked that his filet was one of the best he has ever had and was full of flavor. Don't forget to order the Kilohan Pie for dessert, you won't be disappointed. It is certainly large enough for two people to share, however my husband wanted his own, so we had to order two!
