The hotel was very good located, calm, by the beach and clean.
For me the only problem was the humidity in the room. Even with if my cloth where in the luggage which was closed all my cloth where humid and I really don't like that feeling so for that reason I wouldn't go back to that hotel.

Aloha and thank you for your review of the Kauai Beach Resort. We are pleased that you found the resort to be in a convenient location and the facilities to be clean. With respect to your experience with the humidity in your guestroom, we certainly would have addressed that concern as most times it could be the setting of the air-conditioning. We apologize for any inconvenience this brought you and we would hope to have the pleasure of your return visit. Mahalo!

Beautiful view, friendly staff, beautiful island. Nothing negative stands out in my opinion because the opportunity to visit paradise is one that I greatly appreciated! I highly recommend the Blue Dolphin sunset cruise with captain Christian and his crew Matt and Ben, well worth the time! I also recommend Keokis Paradise as a nice restaurant to wind down. This resort is a prime location no matter where your trying to go so its highly recommended on my behalf not only for saving money but also time!

We wish that we had planned more of our time on Kauai at this hotel. Very professional staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the airport. Beautiful hotel experience. The restaurant was very good, also.

We just spent five days at this resort and found it very relaxing and clean. We booked online through booking .com and it came with a free car for $220 per night. The rooms were good and the ocean view room also gave great ocean and pool views. the staff were great apart from taking a long time to check us in. We arrived at 1530 and they did not have a room ready till 1630 which was a bit tedious. Apart from that I have no complaints. The food was good and reasonably priced. The pools and spas were great. This is a great place to relax. The beach was only to look at and I would not recommend swimming there. The roster crows at 0400hrs every morning and this wakes you up. They should get rid of the bloody rosters.

Room Tip: Get the Ocean view rooms as it gives a great view of ocean and pools.

We stayed there for one night only as our flight arrived late and the hotel is very close to the airport ($10). The room was comfortable. However, we had a view on a crappy parking lot and construction. We did not bother because we were staying for one night only. Otherwise, it may be worth asking for an oceanview. The pool area is very nice and the grounds are well maintained. They even build a shallow pool area close to the beach that looks like a beach with sands... Perfect for little kids. The beach is beautiful and quiet (although rocky, so you can really swim there). We found the people at the reception and at the restaurant very nice and welcoming. We had the buffet breakfast and it was not very good. I would not recommend it.
It could be the perfect base if you want to travel around the island.

Room Tip: You may want to ask for an oceanview if you don't want to have the view on the crappy parking fr...

I did research on most of the places to stay in Kauai. This resort was near most of our desired activities we had planned. Staff was very friendly give or take a few of the front desk employees who might of woke up on the wrong side of the bed. That didn't stop us from enjoying most of the amenities. Pool staff was great. Food was amazing. The lounge at night always had good solo entertainment. We skipped the buffet breakfast altogether being that we were out the door by 7am most days to take advantage of exploring the beautiful island.
Everywhere we went the people were very nice and Kauai is so clean and peaceful.
Not much of a night life, but we found our own little favorite spots.
We did the Blue Dolphin adventure sunset cruise. Its not the typical buffet you are use to, but food was good. The Napali coast is a must see. The catamaran was very choppy. All company's were out and there was no bypassing the choppy waters.
We also did the Luau Kalamaku. Great entertainment, buffet was amazing.
Waimea Canyon was amazing, all the waterfalls.
We would definitely go back.

We recently stayed at the Kauai Beach Resort and had the most amazing stay!!! We were busy during the day and did not hang out at the pool or beach. The grill out by the pool has awesome food. I got a grilled fish wrap and it was so good!! The rooms were great, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy. We honestly do not have one complaint!! As for the roosters.......I was nervous reading the reviews, but don't let this deter you from this hotel.. There are roosters all over the island and they did not wake us up once. You could hear some light noise once you were awake some mornings, but they weren't loud enough to wake you up or keep you awake. We will definitely return to this hotel next time we travel to Hawaii!!
