We booked a wheelchair accessible room for 4, and then arrived early. The front desk personnel went through every accessible room until they found exactly what we needed. They stored our luggage while having the room cleaned, and then had our luggage delivered to the room while we had a drink by the pool. And the room was amazing, as was the entire resort! The beach was great, the breakfast buffet was a real treat, and the location fit us perfectly. We will be back! Bet on it!

Room Tip: Every room has a great view!

I've stayed at this resort twice about 8 years apart. It was the Radisson in another life. The pools are great and during certain tides the beach is good too. If it is a lower tide, the rocks/reef creates a small lagoon that our son enjoyed playing in. It felt like we were on our own private beach. There is nothing within walking distance from the resort so plan to drive.

8 night stay. This area of the island is a great central location to view everything. The resort was wonderful; rooms(we had a king) had enough space, clean(great service), quality bed and a nice porch. Multiple pools and hot tubs, a sandy pool as well. The landscaping was beautiful with a variety of trees and plants. The service/trip desk was great in scheduling things to do. Every Wednesday night the resort has the South Pacific Dinner Show, highly recommend. I wish there had been a little more of a beach, rather rocky with a barrier wall(can't see in high tide); there were plenty of other beaches close by. Hawaii is a nazi state for smokers, but the resort offers scenic smoking areas. I highly recommend this resort, booked a package so can not comment on room price to compare.

If you want a nice relaxing time and a good location to explore the wonderful island of Kauai then the Kauai beach resort is a good place to stay. Not far from the airport to travel.
Need to book a ocean view room. Hotel is a not a new building and a bit dated, it's clean and the outside areas are very well looked after.
Would defiantly stay there again.

Lovely location on the beach though no good for swimming as the sea gets rough.
The food is lovely both in the main restaurant, the pool bar and in shutters bar.
Good service from all staff who were all very helpful.
The pool area is great, couple of jacquzzi's, a great couple of pools with waterfalls and slide then a sand pool at the back next to the pool bar.
Will stay here again on my return visit to Kauai.

Room Tip: Maybe try for pool/ocean view room, ours was garden but overlooked a car park area
