“Great night with traditional themes and lovely location”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

We had an enjoyable night out at Luau Kalamaku. Kilo Plantation is a beautiful setting and nice to wonder around the plantation with cocktails in hand. Luau and buffet dinner are held under a large covered enclosure so didn't get wet from any rain. Staff were friendly and it was well organised. Food was tasty, plentiful and a wide selection. The Luau was great with traditional themes and stories and many local performers.

“fantastic show”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

The atmosphere was authentic, so was the food. Well organized and plenty to eat. Plenty of desserts and an open bar.
The show was very well performed and the story easy to follow.
An entirely enjoyable evening

“Awful food, good show”
Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

This was our first luau. I expected the food to be mediocre but it was terrible. Only the salad and rolls were good. The mixed drinks were bad as well, so even though it was open bar I drank water. The grounds are beautiful, and the venue is covered so we weren't cold on this windy, chilly night. The show was pretty good except one of the fire performers dropped her flaming balls not once but twice. Scary! We paid over two hundred dollars and it wasn't worth the money. They took our photo, which was overexposed, and then charged twenty dollars for it. Would recommend trying a different luau on Kauai.

“The usual luau”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

We enjoyed the meal and the fire dancer was amazing...a little far away to get the full benefit of the show.
$99.00 US each is a lot for what you get.
