A very pleasant little hotel that has a great, unique style in the rooms. After staying in a number of different places in Hawaii it was refreshing to see a place that has maintained some character and was quite charming.

Very comfortable and simple, is a perfect place to stay in this area and is good value for Hawaii where accommodation is expensive. Nice to have coffee in the morning and the staff is very helpful in answering any questions and giving recommendations.

Close to restaurants and is a central location for exploring both the north and south of Kauai. Although it is located right in the city of Lihue which isn't overly scenic, our room with a king bed had a lovely view of the mountains.

We stayed here since our other booking at another resort lasted only 5 days and needed one more night before our flight. It was gross. Sheets had stains, thin walls (we could hear everyone around us all night) and the bathroom was nasty. We definitely wore our sandals in the shower. Don't go.

I will admit that the queen bedroom was very tiny but it was spotless and looked adorable. We stayed because we needed a room the night we left hawaii. The price is perfect and the lady at the desk was the sweetest ever. If you do not have a car I would not recommend staying here for long but if you are travelling through it is perfect. It has a microwave and small fridge which was helpful.

Very basic motel although spotlessly clean. Rooms are tiny as are bathrooms. No hairdryer in room but laundry facilities in building. Free internet - works so so in room though good in "lobby". Although the sign says there is coffee etc between 7:30 and 9am, if you arrive and there isn't any left, the person working may or may not make more. I arrived at 8:50am and found it was empty. After waiting a few minutes for the woman working to return to the small lobby area I asked for coffee and got told that the coffee was only till 9am and there was a cafe around the corner. When I pointed out that it was not yet 9am she made a nasty comment and did nothing. At 9am exactly she cleared off the few cups and things and locked it all away. On the other hand, the other Hawaiian woman who works nights there was gracious and helpful and even gave us - unasked for - bottles of water. What a difference a person makes. This is NOT a place to spend any time - just a convenient place for a night when you need somewhere to sleep. And you need to be tired as you hear everything through the walls and weird windows.

Aloha and Mahalo for your comment. We do try and provide the "little things" that make your vacation a pleasant one. I do apologize for the coffee being put away. Thanks to your comment we have extended our coffee time until 10am. We do serve Kauai Coffee and our guest love it!!! I'm glad you got to meet Mokihana, she is a lovely lady and a wonderful asset to our Ohana. I do hope you enjoyed Kauai and it's beauty.

Most of the stuff in the room I stayed are in good qualities, and it is a good choice for traveling with budget concerns. The only thing I would like to point out is that the noise made by the air-conditioner is a little bit loud. But, you have the option to just leave the air-conditioner off.
