I would certainly give Marjorie's Inn a great review for many of the same reasons that the other reviews have. However, it is pretty expensive (we paid about $140/night), and for that kind of money, I would expect to have a view of the ocean and/or be within walking distance to restaurants, shops, trails, etc. The Inn has a great view of a valley, but we went to Kauai so see the ocean... especially for $140/night. Alexis was as amazing of a hostess as others have said, and our room was very comfortable and decorated nicely. I just think for that kind of money, travelers should be closer to stereotypically "Hawaiian" surroundings. If the Inn was in the middle of Nebraska, I would highly recommend it. But if you're going to be in Kauai, FEEL like you're on Kauai and spend your $140 for a place near the ocean (which is very easy to do).
