Beautiful beach setting, wonderful outdoor atmosphere. The food was very average and the show was good but not outstanding. This seems typical of luaus. Will anyone ever offer something wonderful? The pork (a supposed highlight of a luau) is always fine but not mouth-watering. We selected this luau because the reviews didn't point to any other as much better, and we could walk to this one. Don't need to do a luau again for another decade or so.

We wanted a Luau on the beach and this was the only one we could find on the Island. We have been so many luau's over the years and this was just great. Appetizers were good, the buffet dinner went quickly and was great food, a good selection of meat and veggie, salads, more than enough to satisfy my wife and I, and then dessert on top of that.
The entertainment was as to be expected, polynesian dancers representing all the various islands, nicely done with music and narration for a entertaining evening. Even though we have been to several of these, my wife still was snapping photos and video of the dancers. The couple sitting across from us worked in the hotel industry and were talking about the other luau's on the Island, they gave this one a thumbs up and said the food was the best, so that was nice to hear.
We did have a rain cloud drift over and start raining on us, the staff was quick to get plastic ponchos to everyone, but about the time you got your poncho on, the rain stopped, but it was nice to see they were ready for it.
Overall a great luau, on a beautiful beach with great food and entertainment, we were glad this was our choice.

This was our third luau, and it was by far the worst we'd ever seen. Sure it's on the water... which is mostly blocked by the stage. The food was terrible. In fact, the couple next to us took one look at the buffet and walked out. They were the lucky ones. This is the first luau I've seen where they didn't actually roast the pig in the ground. We got platters full of watery pork. Very average, and completely unacceptable for the price. The poi! OK, I'm one of the ones who loves Poi, but this was way too thin and soupy. Some rice, some dry fish. Yuck. On to the show: the performers did their best. Some of them were actually pretty good. But the show itself was lackluster. Someone else mentioned the "rock hula..." Yeah, I didn't want to see performers in colored plastic skirts. The MC/hostess was either new, or just didn't care. Her delivery was rough, with a couple false starts and pauses. The sound-system was terrible: we got feedback, and a lot of crackling. Finally, the luau was right next to a wing of the resort. My first thought was, "Wow.. they can watch for free from their balconies." Yes, they can. But after once, they probably had to flee their rooms to escape the noise. Didn't impact me, but it would keep me away from the Sheraton. Overall, a huge disappointment... try one of the others.

Been to several luaus before. But for the location - this was by far the worst. Speedy - $100 per person over 18. Food - very average. Dancers were good (especially the one fire dancer - amazing).

It was not very traditional (the "rock hula" - really??). The band was a nice touch during the early part of the evening - but they played through each dance. I prefer when there are just the traditional drums and the instruments used by the dancers. Besides the non traditional dances/songs - the worst had to be the outfits. In all seriousness - you could buy the same outfits at Party City. Plastic grass skirts? Cheesy polyester Hawaiian shirts/skirts? And bright colored plastic leis? Awful.

Everything was set up nicely. The food was delicious and the dancers were great. If i could fix anything it would be the seating arrangements so that everyone gets a great view of the dancers..
