“Great Hike”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

I really enjoyed the hike from Shipwrecks Beach to Mahaulepo Beach. The views were incredible, but the hike was a little strenuous. So, bring plenty of water and plan on spending several hours on this hike.

“If you love orchids and cacti, you are gonna love this place”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

I just couldn't believe it, the orchids, the orchids, the cacti, just awesome.
All the orchids were in bloom (May) and we just awesome. There are hundreds of them.
Nice walkways to wander thorough and take your time to take the colors all in.
Then over to the cacti gardens. Not many in bloom at this time, but still...the size of them. I just loved it. We took our time, and spent about 45 minutes in both gardens. Pictures just don't do justice to the many types of plants here.
Loved this little gem, bonus that it was free.

“Look Around”
Reviewed March 9, 2012

This little "village" has several shops and restaurants plus two grocery stores. It is worth a stop to look around and grab lunch or dinner.

“Regardless of your age etc.. consider this hike”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

Once in a lifetime trail. Beautiful, scenic, and amazing. Not matter what your physical shape, age, etc... consider making this truly magnificent trail. I would rate it as the number one thing to accomplish in Kauai.

“Gorgeous!”
Reviewed February 11, 2012

We did a guided hike from our hotel, The Point at Poipu, to Shipwreck Beach and a little beyond, and it was stunning. We could see whales surfacing just off the shore, sea turtles popping their hands, and so much native flora and fauna. The section of the trail that we did was not terribly strenuous - there was a little bit of scrambling over rocks, but I had my baby in a backpack carrier and could manage fine.
