The fish wrap was as great as we remembered. We also had the special salad that was a great compliment. The two were shared and we enjoyed both the same.

We went there after getting a recommendation from the Westin. Honestly we wanted to love it...cool looking place, fish seemed fresh...but honestly it wasn't the best fish I have eaten on the island...the fish tacos were small...the fish plate was blend (salsa could have made wonders). Plus, the place was full with flies and other flying bugs.

I wasn't impressed. Other cool place for fish tacos with similar atmosphere is island tacos on the other side of the island.

This little fish market and lunch establishment has been going strong for several years now and if you eat here long enough you can see big changes (like putting in two paved parking spots!). Otherwise, it is the same delicious food, whether an ahi wrap, the mixed fish plate or fish tacos. You still have to worry whether you will be able to get a table (and then of course you do) and now that it is far more well known than 5 years ago you have to wait 20 minutes or so to get your ahi wrap, but it still provides fantastic taste value for what you get and pay for. We dream of this place when we return to the mainland.

We had the fresh ono wrap for dinner one night, and it was heaven on earth! We brought beer and sat outside and enjoyed the evening breezes. We were staying at the Aston Islander on the Beach which shares a parking lot with Kilauea Fish Market and decided to try it. It was the best dinner we had during a weeklong trip!

We came across this restaurant on our way out of kiluaea after seeing the lighthouse. It was really busy and has no inside eating spaces but the food was incredible! The oho burrito is expensive but huge! A must if you are in the area.
