“Great Breakfast Turnovers”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

We had a breakfast turnover that was amazing! I also got a coconut chocolate eclair that was also delicious.

It's located in the back of a little shopping center on your way to the lighthouse.

“Very good pizza.”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

Stopped in to get a pizza to go ... 30min wait ... but it was worth it. I ordered the Island Style'n pizza ... very good. A little hard to find ... it is behind the Kilauea Bistro ... but once you've found it, sure was obvious :-/

“Great pizza in unlikely location”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Based on a guidebook, we had a late lunch in October 2012. The location is hidden away and not eye-catching, but don't be deterred by that. Inside, you go to a counter and place your order and wait to pick up your order. Some of the days offerings were sold out by the time we got there, so we had limited choices. The staff was very nice helping us find something we would like. I ended up with a slice of pizza and salad and my wife got a vegetarian sandwich. Both were excellent. By the way, the seating is outside in a shaded location. No view but a pleasant setting. well worth returning to. If you go, get there early before things get sold out.

“Yummy All Day Long”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

The best fresh pastry on the north shore. While I'm supposed to be on a diet, I must admit I indulge at least once a week at this great little place. Chocolate crossants are amazing.

“great local spot”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Pau Hana is a great place to sit, have a slice and take in the scene. The outdoor seating is vast and a great place for community to gather. Food wise, they have some quality gluten free options. The guava macaroons are the best thing ever! And the salads and soups look great. The dough they use for the bread, pizza, biali, and pastries seems to all taste the same. It's basically like bread dough. So, the pizza was ok, but not the best on the island. The coffee is decent. It's a fully automatic machine :( but overall, did the job.
