“Fantastic Food -- Staff member taking orders needs better training/communication re: cross-contact concerns”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

We chose this wonderful restaurant because we love fresh, locally-sourced cuisine with interesting menus. We were not disappointed with the menu or the food. It was terrific! I have lots of food intolerances so it can be challenging to find suitable options. Not here! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

However, we struggled to find a safe choice for my son with celiac disease. We asked for assistance with finding a dish that would be free of cross-contact. Traces of gluten must be avoided with celiac disease. The young staff member was polite but difficult to engage in this discussion. She twice gave us the disclaimer: "We cannot guarantee that there won't be traces; We're not a gluten-free facility." Usually restaurants with a well educated staff will guide you with selecting the safest possible option.

Normally, we would have walked away but we persisted as it seems that many GF diners have had wonderful meals -- safe from gluten. I'm left wondering if this restaurant doesn't concern itself with cross-contact or if their staff member wasn't well trained.

“Great food, lovely atmosphere”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

My tow friends and I really enjoyed our lunch here, where the three of us shared wraps, salads and smoothies. We also were big fans of how they use organic, local foods to produce such delicious meals.

The setting was lovely too- far enough off the highway and out in the fields so that it was quiet, peaceful, shady and green.

“Good wraps, fresh ingredients”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

We enjoyed lunch here. We had various wraps - these were the size of a large burrito, plus a whole side of sweet potato fries. So plenty of quality food, not too expensive, and a nice outdoor setting. The veggies were good and fresh; I think they grow some of their own produce. If the whole family had loved their entrees, I'd have given it a five, but some of us thought the flavors were just OK.
