“little bit pricey - but nice gardens”

Owner description: This is not your typical miniature golf course. There are no clown's mouths or windmills to shoot through. This 18 hole putting green style course is set amongst beautiful botanical gardens representing the different eras of Hawaii's culture. Meanwhile, water hazards, pipe shots, and many other obstacles make for a fun and challenging experience. Along the way you will travel through Hawaii's history, learning about the islands storied past and its beautiful tropical flora. This combination of recreation with education in a beautiful setting creates a truly unique experience for both the local community and visitors on Kauai's North Shore. Furthermore, mini golf is a great game for keiki, kapuna, dates, families, and even those looking to brush up on their short game. We look forward to welcoming you at Kauai's newest attraction!

“Island History, Mini Golf Style”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2012

A fun place to play miniature golf in a lovely setting. In fact, it's a tropical garden. You learn something about Kauai and its tropical plants at each hole. Staff is friendly.

“Cute potted experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 29, 2012

The gardens are especially interesting here and are well established after a comparatively short time, as part of a bit of a mini golf challenge. The North Shore has much to offer, all conveniently set out along a driving route. Next door is a tropical garden centre which is also worth a visit if it is open and Banana Joe's!

“An awesome course with a botanical garden incorporated.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2012

A friend and I decided to try the new 18-hole course the water features were awesome and the course was just hard enough. The design was genius, including the possibility of losing you ball in the water. However, it had been designed the ball would eventually get pushed into a tunnel by the tide and stop on dry ground. The night time atmosphere was fun and it was a great experience. The only down side was the price.

“So fun for our group!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2012

We went there after our wedding with a group of about 20 friends and family. We wanted an outdoor group activity (since we weren't going to have a traditional 'reception') and thought this was the perfect way to end our day. No one expected that after the wedding at Na Aina Kai and the dinner at St Regis that we would be topping off the evening with a fun round of mini golf.

The weather was perfect - and the view of the moon over the mountains was something we will never forget. The staff was so helpful in getting back to me during our planning, they really made things easy for all of us to enjoy.

I hope to be back for a daytime visit. At night we don't get to see all the foliage.
