Great tour. We had many chocolate and fruit samples, got toured around the farm and had a history lesson on chocolate. Be sure to bring shoes you don't mind getting a little muddy.

I know chocolate was the main attraction to this farm tour, but we also got to sample local in-season fruit such as longan, star fruit, soursop, rambutan, sunrise/strawberry papaya, tangerines and Illinois/passion fruit. Oh, and their award winning palm honey! The estate was like a botanical garden including real vanilla vines and papyrus. The highlight was the chocolate tasting. We had our 11 year old grandson with us and he thoroughly enjoyed learning about the process. We were able to sample the raw cacao seed, a roasted bean and then various levels/% of the finished chocolate. Samples for his classmates in the form of cocoa nibs and honey are returning back home.

Why that is such a lovely review. Happy to hear that the extensive tastings appealed to you. We'll keep diversifying what we do here! And please do come back to visit the chocolate farm next time you are on Kauai!

Best,
Will

What a treat! We enjoyed our visit so much. Kate did an excellent job providing the history and tour. It was not only lots of chocolate tasting, but appreciated the variety of fruit tastings. We are so happy we did it. We all bought something to take home. Great job!

My husband and I did this tour with our adult daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We did the chocolate tour. It was incredibly well organized and lasted three hours. We learned a lot about island history, agriculture, and flora while tasting delicious fruit and chocolate. The owner and Kate, our tour leader, did a great job of introducing us to the farm, the family history on the island, and the process of growing and producing chocolate on Kauai. Highly recommend this as a half-day activity that has the added benefit of supporting local agriculture. There was a child in a stroller on our tour who did really well but I think it will be most fun for 10 and up. Wear shoes that can get muddy and bring a hat.
