We were pleased with the views we had from both bedrooms. It was nice having a full kitchen. Walking distance to the beach wasn't bad at all. The elevator position from where our room was, is the a minor inconvenience. Parking close to your room was tricky. The pool area was very nice! The kids had a blast. Rooms are very elegant. I would stay here again if we make a repeat visit to visit Kauai.

Our unit C104 was ground level and had two bedrooms. The room with double bed had the largest bathroom and whirlpool bathtub. The king bedroom had the smallest whirlpool tub. Both bedrooms had porches with chairs. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the label each day. We had excellent privacy because of the landscaping shrubbery. The grounds were well kept. The unit was better than I anticipated. There were some stains on the carpet and the sofa was stained and little worn out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented snorkel equipment from the shop in the resort for $10 per set per day or $24 per set for the week. However, we received a bill for $462 for our 7 night stay ($275+$12.95 tax for cleaning fee and $25 a day for a "resort fee). This was a pretty hefty fee for a hotel we had already prepaid for! We barely used the swimming pool so our resort fee was wasted and yet didn't include equipment rental and you couldn't swim at the beach because the waves are too rough. The pool's "lazy river" was not really a lazy river as it didn't have a current and you couldn't use inner tubes to float.... The hotel was directly across the street from Safeway which was very convenient. The Oasis Restaurant at the resort had a great ocean view and ambiance. We couldn't afford to eat there but we had Mai Tai's our last night and they were fabulous ( they use Liilikoi juice on the bottom layer of the drink).
This was the perfect place for our family to stay, pool perfect, dining excellent, clean room and the entire facility kept very clean. Unfortunately there was only one dining place but not far at all from outside venues.

We rented one of the condos for ourselves and our son and his family rented another. All of us were so impressed. The pool, long lazy river, water slides, and waterfalls were fun every single one of our 14 days. Our granddaughter had friends in the pool each afternoon. This resort is only about 15 or 20 minutes from the airport. Directly across the street were wonderful places to shop for groceries, eat, and get coffee. The grounds are like a botanical garden with a huge koi pond. It was so close to all of our excursions and side trips. Clean, air-conditioned, daily pool towel service, on-site restaurant, and a short walk to the beach all got our vote for doing this again
We were hoping to snorkel around the Island. This was a good central location from which we could access a variety of snorkel options. Nice resort area, nice pool w/slides for kids and young at heart. Security did a good job working to keep non-registered guests out. Resort is right on the water, but we were advised not to snorkel the water at resort due to rocks, sea urchins, eels, and squid, but other suggestions were made of where we could go, and the best times of day and tides for doing so.
The resort beach area is private, so if you want to take a longer walk, then you can access the 8 mile Ke Ala Hele Makalae bike and walking Path by walking a short distance through a small 'neighborhood' right beside the resort.
Onsite Concierge worked hard to help us and gave us great suggestions for things of interest to us.
We felt the grounds where kept lush and clean, never seen any trash are hazards. They had a out door pool with connected water way around the pool out door showers and restrooms. Two water slides and out door grill and Beach Restaurant. The rooms where located well with a view of the beach and ocean. Parking was ample. Plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas. Beach and sand next to the ocean. Beach waters had way to much current flow to be safe and lava rocks just under the surface, But it was a wonderful view while sitting on the beach or at the pool are from your room. Whew..... It is centrally located on the east side of the Island a Hour drive to either end and all the attractions or close enough to make it a great choice. Grocery and restaurant and ice cream parlor across the street, and other places and shop all with in walking distance. Whew again...., walk to the beach to see morning sun rise to really enjoy take a cup of coffee and your camera. Kind of pricy you decide.
