“Overall good”

Positives: good central location for traveling to other parts of the island, great pool for kids, very nice rooms with high end appliances, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Also is relatively reasonably priced for the area considering we had 5 people (comfortably)in our two bedroom unit. Very clean and well maintained grounds also.
Negatives: staff were friendly but not overly helpful. We felt like we were allowed to be there rather than guests. No room cleaning or towels during a 10 night stay ($80 fee), $120 for late checkout and very abrupt dismissal from front desk when trying to get a late checkout (room is rented you have to be out, that's your problem).

Came here for a family reunion and had an amazing time! The pool is fantastic and the rooms were really clean and modern. Really close to the local supermarket. Reception staff were really friendly and the free wifi was a bonus!

First time on Kauai. Did my research and found this resort, with many good reviews. Stayed with my family in C102. It was a ground floor with garden view. Facing the pool with plenty of outside space to sit comfortably. The upper floors seemed to have less patio space,so try for the ground level. The traffic signal in front of the resort is brutal. You will sit for at least 5 minutes or stand if you are trying to get to safeway, for the light to change.Rush hour traffic around the resort can be bad,but other than that, resort was amazing. Many amazing beaches around the island to visit,so lack of a great beach here was not an issue for us.There are four gas grills to use.Two on either side of the pool.Grills are large.I do not like cold water, the pool was warm,as I was in every day.Our room was great, two bed garden view, clean and spacious, better than expected.Enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. There is no maid service through the resort, you can pay for service if you like, but we chose not too.Unit has washer / dryer so we washed our own bath towels,no big deal for us.

Wow, first time to Kauai... how exciting! We realize it takes more than one visit to truly capture the essence of this lovely island, so we will keep an eye out for you on your return visit. The staff & Mgmt were thrilled to read your review and we appreciate you taking the time to do so.

ps- we realize the traffic light fronting the property can be a lengthy one (shorter at night) although the upside of this is you get to view the legendary Sleeping Giant mountain while you wait...

Very mixed review on this resort. We are the type of people that like to do all kinds of research prior to booking a trip and we were looking for a place that had a beautiful view and a good pool to cool down in the heat. After reading the disappointing reviews about the mountain view and all the traffic associated with it we decided to upgrade for the garden view room since the pictures show how impressive it is. We were given room C305. When we arrived , we were in for a shock of this so called garden view. No pool, no garden, just a hedge if you look down with just a parking lot and a construction site on an old motel currently under construction.
We immediately went back to the front desk and thought they made a mistake. We were told that this was indeed their garden view. At this point we told them we were willing to pay the difference in a further upgrade to any other room we were told they were booked solid till nearly the end of our trip.
I do admit that the inner courtyard was beautiful and the interior of the rooms were very nice and roomy. Any issues with things not working were taken care of within the hour. The location was excellent though trying to turn out of the complex especially left can take some time. The furnishings were nicely displayed but you quickly got uncomfortable on the couch.
I am marking this as a three out of 5 only because I would rate the view of this room a 1 but if we had received any of the rooms we thought we were getting of the actual garden that would be a 5. We would definitely return again to this property but next time through the individual owners so I know what I am getting. Just to let you know, any room that faces inwards is counted as an ocean or partial ocean view even if you can't see it.
I am attaching the view we thought we were getting vs the room we actually had.

Went there on our are third night in kauai after trying two other resorts, love this resort! It's newer and centrally located to everything. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is amazing. We stayed in a hotel room which was cheap at one forty nine a night rather than the condo units. The hotel room was great! We were on the first floor and right next to the pool. Had a nice lanai to sit out on and there is a family of orange tabby cats that would visit to share some breakfast each morning. The place is beautiful, well maintained and the oasis Resturant is on the beach at the resort and is excellent. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for an end unit first floor

We have stayed previously at this resort and loved it. We returned with our grown children this past April and were on the 4th floor. Totally different experience...especially traveling with two toddlers. We booked 7 months in advance and would've thought that a ground floor request could've been accommodated. Love the location but would recommend staying on ground floor level if you enjoy sitting outside. The only patios in the 2-bedroom units are off the bedroom and very small. No outside sitting areas that could accommodate our entire party. Also, the dining room table could seat 3 in a two bedroom unit. We couldn't even sit and play cards or games at the table. A little disappointing for our family. Would only stay again if traveling with a group of 4 or less and able to get a ground level unit.

We staid for a week at unit G403 and enjoyed our time there immensely. Great condo, very clean, spacious and nicely appointed, high end appliances, very comfy bed and great jacuzzi bathtub. It really feels like home away from home. Pool area is a lot of fun and Oasis cafe have great food and super cocktails. Too bad we had only one week there, would definitely go back there for longer next time.
