Description: We are a full service Bakery Cafe. Different from most due to being on this small island of Kauai,Hi. Our cafe serves both breakfast and lunch with a variety of baked goods. We also serve the health food stores, restaurants and hotel industry out of the same building. While we serve you breakfast or lunch we will be packing breads which are getting ready to be delivered to our wholesale customers. So both retail and wholesale out of the same location. We have an open kitchen so you can watch out staff at work. Also, we are roasting our own beef for our sandwiches which are covered with a house made dry rub, we also make our own pastrami using the short ribs which are perfectly marbled with good fat. We brine the short ribs for 7 days, smoke using pecan wood for 4 hours then slow cooked for 48 hours using a sous de vide technic. Come and try one of our sandwiches.

“So tasty!”
Reviewed July 8, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I rarely go to the same food place twice on a trip, to maximize our food experiences. We made an exception here, and ate twice. We ordered LOTS of different things, from breakfast and lunch sandwiches to nearly every baked good they sell. Everything was excellent. The coffee was way too hot however - volcanic & took forever to cool down, even after LOTS of milk. (Order an iced coffee instead or ask for coffee not too hot.). Overall - awesome!

“Great sticky buns!”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

Walking distance from our cottage. We went our first morning in Kauai to get breakfast, and enjoyed awesome macadamia nut sticky buns! A must if you are in or near Kapaa!

“Delightful Surprise”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

We had a car full of hungry kids and needed to make an urgent stop, so we pulled into the parking lot that looked like there were a few food choices around. This bakery looks like nothing from the outside - and there's not much space inside. The reason is that their bread is in such demand that they sell to commercial outlets on Kauai and they use the cafe space to arrange it before shipping. I thought it funny at first that the place had so many employees, but they do what appears to be a roaring trade.

This isn't necessarily a great place to sit and eat (though there are a few sufficient tables outside), but it's definitely a terrific place to pick up delicious baked goods (and simple sandwiches) and take them with you. Given the range of sweets and savoury items that we bought, I don't think that you can go wrong with any item in the place. The staff were exceptionally friendly as well.

“UMMMMMM Mac Nut Sticky buns!”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

You gotta get there early to enjoy one of these big treats the way they should be enjoyed, Warm right out of the oven. We make it a point to get in here at opening at least one day, and then buy a half dozen, 2 for now, 2 for later and 2 more for breakfast the next day too! Cookies are OK, and the muffins are really good too.
