“Nice atmosphere but....”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

waited forever to get a drink. It was happy hour, so the place was full, In act there was a lineup. The bar staff seemed nice but I waited of almost an hour for a drink. Happy hour ended at 6pm and it is now 6:45 and I have been ignored. AND, I am sitting at the bar! The menu features local fare but I could only find one single thing to order. It was a baguette with tomato and mozzarella. It was an appetizer, was $10. Tasted good but only got 3 'little' pieces of baguette... Very little for the price. There was a live 'duo', singing and playing music... Very good, but still didn't compensate for the bad service. Grrrr.....

“Great View & Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

Had a great meal last night along with excellent service from our waiter, Henry and his assistant. The local catch was superior along with some of thier drink specialties during the 4 to 6 happy hour. We will definitely go again!

“Delicious, locally-sourced dining on the beach!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

We stayed at the Waipouli Beach Resort and ate at the restaurant twice, and really enjoyed our meals both times. Excellent especially for a resort restaurant. The food (including the beef, fish and more) is mostly sourced on the island (great for such a small island!), and is very good. The atmosphere is classic and comfortable as well, right on the beach.

Recommended most highly: Curry with catch of the day, and the Short Ribs. About $15-$30/plate. Also has half-servings of entrees, great for lunch or a light dinner.

“A Great and Exciting Beach Front Asset to Kapaa!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

This is a wonderful new asset to the East Side of Kaua'i. As a part of a gorgeous beach resort, the restaurant is within a few steps of the ocean. Open for lunch, "Happy Hour" and dinner, the restaurant offers a variety of menu items. Our server, Nicole, was fantastic and really was concerned about offering excellent service during our recent visit. On Wednesday, there is great live music provided during "Happy Hour." This is such an incredible location!! I hope that many visitors will take advantage of the booming East Side of Kaua'i and this exciting new venue!!! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

“By the Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2013

We were staying at the Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa and went to Oasis because it was so convenient. We were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was casual and perfectly oceanside. It was a bit chilly so the staff closed the doors without any negative attitude at all. The food was wonderful. I had the curry which was some of the best I have ever had, and I have had alot of curry, because it is one of my favorites. My husband had the burger which was also very good (I had a taste, of course). The Mai Tai (sp?) was the best I have ever had! The staff were friendly, made great recommendations , and always professional. We went back two more times during our stay. The fish is locally sourced, which appears to be common in the Kapa'a.
