My husband and I took the walking tour. Mat our guide was very professional and informative and gave us great advice when it came to using our camera. We took some beautiful pictures and enjoyed his wealth of knowledge. This was one of the highlights on our vacation. The owner took us back to the cruise port to insure we got back in time. She gave everyone a hug and treated us like family. We would love to return and take the hiking tour. We would like to say thank you to everyone at Kauai Photo tours for a great time.

My husband and I took this tour. Our tour guide, Christian, was great. He was very knowledgable about photography and gave my husband some great tips. He was also great about taking photos of the two of us at the beautiful places we visited. Everyone at the company was very friendly and professional. The tour was a lot of fun and we saw some really beautiful places. Take this tour...you will be glad you did!!!

This was our first visit to Kauai and it was very last minute so we had little time to research what we wanted to see and do. Photography has always been the centerpiece of my travels so it seemed like a good way to get some good shots and figure out the spots we might want to revisit during the rest of our stay. We ended up going out with another couple of experienced photographers so none of us really needed instruction on how to frame shots etc. We were all thrilled with having a guide to drive and get us to the most picturesque spots we would not likely have found on our own. Kent Chastain was our guide for the day and was very flexible to our wishes ("Ooh, can you pull over here for a shot?") He taught us a lot about the history and culture of the island as we drove along and gave us advice regarding things we might want to do during the remainder of our stay. Lunch was the best food we had on the island and at the best price. All in all a great day with new friends and some iconic shots to share back home. Another bonus was that the office was located directly across the street from our timeshare. In the office, Michelle was so helpful before we even left home, answering questions not only about the tours but also about Kapaa itself. Michelle, Christine and Kent all were so friendly and comfortable to be around, they feel like Ohana now. We were treated as friends not just tourists. Great Value. Highly recommend.

We had booked our tour earlier and the day it was scheduled, it was pouring. We had the option of rescheduling but with our other planned activities, it wasn't possible. So, we just decided to go anyway. We had signed up for the drive/hike tour but many of the hikes were just too slippery for us to try. Levi, our guide, went to plan "B" several times but still took us to places that were new to us. We got "rainy day" shots but no blue sky/blue water shots. We were all so glad we decided to go, no matter the weather. We spent the day in dollar ponchos but got to see a lot of Kauai in a different light, so to speak. Will do it again on our next Kauai trip. Will be fun to see the places we didn't quite make it to this time. Levi and Michelle made it a fun day, no matter the rain!
