Likes - perfect for a quick morning hike! Some of the best views on the island.

Dislikes - Not many! It seems there are a few ways to get to the top. Kind of easy to get off the trail at some parts (in particular during the tall pines section). Would be good to have a small sign here to make sure people don't get off track. Make sure you always head upwards.

I liked a trail that is moderately easy with rest stops having views and a roof. Take your time and remember you are changing altitude! I wore slippers but recomend solid shoes - you never know when it will rain! The view from the top is breath taking and the down hill return is easy! Enjoy with the family, I would not recomend this one for my 90 year old aunty! A bit steep and long. A hui ho ..

This is a good day hike that is close to town so to speak; if you are staying on the east side. I hiked it in a few hours, walked down hill and met my wife on the beach, in an afternoon. The tril is well marked and wide, and the view, WOW!

fantastic view, short and great exercise. we took the east trail (we think) and most of it was washed out from the rain the night before. now a year ago i considered myself a runner but since then ive become lazy and ill say - going up this mountain took some effort and holy crap time out breaks. but we made it up there in less than an hour and it was worth it. there were a few questionable spots that we had to scale up some pretty jagged rock faces but once we got up there we saw a grandma and a dad with one of those large kid slings strapped to his back so im sure the other trails are much easier. it was still a good workout considering you dont normally work out on vacation. bring water! the way back down is nothing though - super easy, just watch your footing - there are no guard rails and lots of big roots sticking out of the ground, easy to catch and fall. just be careful and its worth it.
