“Reasonably priced public course on the ocean !”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

We golfed this course twice in early December and both rounds were great! This public course is on the water and you have great ocean views from a few holes. The cost is a fourth of most courses on Kauai that are on the water. The staff was friendly and the course was well maintained. They allow you to bring your own drinks and snacks because they don't have a cafe onsite, only a few snacks and a drink machine. We bought a few reasonably priced shirts from the pro shop. We will golf here again!

“A great public course”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

We loved golfing at the Wailua Golf Course just down the road from the Bay View. We found the grounds were in excellent condition and one of the holes was right on the water and was amazingly scenic. The price was reasonable: $48.00 for a non resident. We met some great local people who we golfed with and enjoyed the day.Highly recommend it if you golf!

“The best municipal golf course you'll find anywhere”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Set right on the beach it is really a links course but with municipal pricing. The whole course was superbly maintained and the views of the ocean on some holes quite memorable. Also played the famous Princeville but much preferred Wailua at 1/4 the cost.

“Truly worthwhile”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

We are not residents, and still the green fees were well worth it. Gorgeous seaside course for being municipal. We also rented a power cart, really useful, as next tee directions not well marked. Also rented an empty golf bag for $5; we brought half sets each in a single bag on the plane.

“Great municipal course”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

This is the best value golf course on Kauai by far. Green fees are very reasonable, and the course is being maintained very well. The tee's and fairways were in excellent shape and the greens were in pretty decent shape - especially considering they had just been aerated (which we were informed of prior to paying our green fees) - with a nice variety of pin placements to spice things up.

Running along the east shore, the course has some beautiful views, and alson means although it can have some pretty significant winds at times. The fairways are open and somewhat forgiving (nice for those of us who are occassional golfers) and seemed to help contribute to a nice pace of play. My friend and I had no issues w/ as walk on's and were allowed to play as a twosome, although we eventually joined another twosome.

All in all - the best golfing valuing on Kauai!
