“Okay if you have never seen coffee growing.......”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

I knew this attraction would be marginal at best, and it was. But for twenty to thirty minutes of our time and to see coffee trees growing, for real, it was fine. The tour is self-guided, 1/8 mile, then you are right back at the visitors' center where you started - taste, buy, etc. I would never go out of my way to see it, but if you are in the vicinity, okay. Sorry I can't be more enthusiastic, but it just doesn't have much going for it, especially the coffee!

“Take a look at these coffee plants!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

4 million coffee plants, the Kauai coffee company claims, and you will believe it while traveling past them on the way to the museum and coffee tasting rooms. This is a nice 30+ minute stop to walk the trail, decide which of the coffees you prefer and to buy a bag or two for yourself and for the folks back home. I love this coffee. Mild and flavorful.

“If you are near Poipu”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

This is a great stop with a self directed tour of their coffee plantation. I never realized how many different major brands of coffee originate from there. While at the shop, you can sample a couple dozen different coffees - yes, you can taste them all! It's a short jaunt from Poipu and the walking tour will give you a great perspective of the Hawaiian coffee business.

What a breath of fresh air to stop and enjoy the Kauai Coffee Company short but informative tour and complimentary -all you can drink - delicious, variety coffees :). Nice shop and scrumptious treats to purchase.

“Very good coffee, but the self guided tour and tasting was very much basic and unrefined.”
Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

We love their coffee (especially their dark roast espresso) but going to see it for yourself is nothing special. There is a self guided tour that you walk around and then the tasting is just carafes put out with labels. There is no one to explain the different types of coffee - just drink, taste and buy if you like it.
