“Very good pizza, and we know our pizza”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

I agree with Curly8, not sure why the poor reviews. This is a pizza parlor, not a fancy restaurant. We found the atmosphere "shabby chic", maybe a little tacky, but definitely comfortable. The pizza was excellent. Hot, fresh and exactly what we ordered. The prices were reasonable. Seriously, we have paid more for a pizza in our hometown of Las Vegas for really GOOD pizza, and this definitely ranks in our top 5 pizzas EVER. The service was excellent and they did not rush us. Very relaxing meal with our extended family. The only negative was not enough parking, but we figured it out! And while the parking lot was jammed, we did not have to wait to be seated, the restaurant has good seating capacity. This was our first trip to Kauai and we will definitely go back on our next visit.

“Good, freshly baked pizza.”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Not sure why the poor reviews or what the expectations were, but good, freshly baked pizza with good service. Typical pizza decor with traditional red/white table clothes. Bar with happy hour specials and drink and wine list. Two big screen TV's to watch sport events. I didn't really see any brick ovens, but large pizza ovens instead. Pizza was freshly made. No more expensive than anything else in Kauai, around $16 for 8 slice small pizza. Wine was $5 not during happy hour, so no complaints there. Nice fresh salad. Good for kids as well, very casual. Right on the main road, so easy to find, plenty of parking.

“Average food and place”
Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Basic- average pizza. It is what it is- there are better pizza places (pizzetta, even costco) but if this is a convenient location for you- go, just expect average pizza for a bit of a high price (unfortunately pizza is an expensive commodity on Kauai in general)

“Very good pizza, not much atmosphere”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We stopped to get a pizza to take back to our hotel. We got a vegetarian pizza. The toppings and sauce were delicious and the crust was perfectly baked. What keeps me from giving a higher rating is that the atmosphere left much to be desired. Not so comfortable looking tables, rather crowded together. There's a joke in the waiting area about waiting at their non existent bar, while they cook your pizza. The staff were efficient but not terribly friendly. The worst part was the parking. We pulled into the lot to find it completely full and it's designed in such a way that it is then very difficult to get out. We ended up having to park across the street and had to run across the busy highway, trying not to get killed on the way to pick up a pizza. The crowds are no doubt due to the excellent pizza, but the place could use a face lift or better yet a new location with more parking.
