We stopped at Bobbie's to eat after arriving in Hanapepe for the Friday Night Art Walk. We ordered the Huli Huli Chicken and it was the most juicy, moist and tender chicken - very delicious. You will receive a 1/2 chicken with this plate, along with rice and another choice of side (green salad or mac salad). It was also the largest 1/2 chicken we'd ever seen. Between 3 orders for the 3 of us, we were able to finish off only 1/2 chicken, leaving a whole chicken, along with a lot of rice. Staying in a cottage, we were able to take it home and it provided us with another 2 meals. So, a great value for the money as well! It is very plain inside and I assume during the day, the tables are inside as well. For the Art Walk, there was no seating inside as the tables were out in front of the small restaurant. But the ambiance is not why you eat at Bobbie's. It was fun to just sit outside as the sun set and people watch while we ate. The staff was very friendly and patient as we reviewed the menu deciding what to order (although the menu is not very complicated, simple but delicious Hawaiian fare).
