“small, quirky get hangout”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2014

this is the place where stars and locals hang. Don't expect much but a great pizza, decent drinks and amazing but crowded atmosphere. The charm of Kauai is the lack of precision and natural beauty, they may run out of something (like Pizza) or just be too crowed to find you a seat. Go for happy hour and save a few bucks. Aloha

“great music”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014

Fun drinks and great music. The food was just okay and kinda pricey. If you go here for just drinks and music, you won't be disappointed.

“What can I say”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2014

The host was so picky, it was annoying. Don't stand here, don't sit there, don't drink water there. Seated, almost out of everything.
Most sides, pizzas... what was the point, we went to a place a few doors down with much better service and food on the menu.

“Great intimate family style luau”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2014 via mobile

Went to the Wednesday night luau with our group of 10. Loved it! Folks staying on North Shore should really consider this one. Got to watch the pig coming out of the pit (with explanation of how it was all set up), great Mai Tais, food was quite good for buffet, and show was sweet (really good dancers, singers, musicians).

“Come for the nostalgia of tiki drinks and George Clooney in the "Decendants"...but not for the food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2014

This place has always piqued my interest on 5 prior trips to Hanalei. This month, I took the plunge and went here with my wife for drinks and dinner. Very old school, nostalgic tiki bar and cool that it was featured in a number of motion pictures. Not cool that it is so dark you can't see the cockroaches scampering across the table in front of you, and the bartender I'm afraid was a real grouch, preparing weak drinks that albiet, were not that expensive for Hawaii. Worth a quick look and fast drink, but don't stick around for more than that.
