Great location overlooking breaking waves. We went to the weekly Luao. this is half an hour beyond Princeville
The pulled pork was delicious. Ono was tasty. Baked chicken with a sweet glaze.
There was the obligatory poi but no one took any.
Family band with three daughters doing the hula. Watch the hands. Their movements were delightful. Not at all sexy. Service was so so but it is their busy night.

We happened on this restaurant because it is one of the farthest out toward the Hanalei coast. We were hungry and it was close for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Greek restaurant. The setting is nice, right along the water and the ambiance is good. The menu has all of the standard items, but also has some creative dishes. Prices were pretty standard (moderately expensive) for Kauai. Unfortunately our server was more interested in talking to the adjoining table than he was in providing service to us. I asked for a condiment that never came because he had a long conversation with the table next door. The jest of the conversation seemed to be that he wanted to be their guide on the next day when he was off from the restaurant. So, go for the view and the food and good luck on the service.

We are 14 year annual visitors to Princeville (timeshare) and this was our third dining experience. Made our reservation 10 days out for Wednesday night (50% off bottles of wine) - great deal - Bernardus Pinot Noire for $26 is awesome - however since we had all (4) eaten seafood the previous 5 nights, we opted for the NY strip steak, based on the incredible Gargonzola Filet we had last visit - this was our friends first time and we had been talking it up. The steak was disappointing, not tender or up to par. Service was good as usual, wine and dinner. I had requested a perimeter table (it was dark but still nice to have) and did not get one - didn't even acknowledge when I asked on check in. Lots of noise compared to other visits but in large part due to the location. Finally we were leaving (early - 8:30) and a young couple walking up were turned away told that the restaurant was closed - hours posted till 10:00 PM. This really got to me. All in all we will be back based on two excellent experiences but last week wasn't one of them.

Four of us ate at the Mediterranean and each thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Good service and the ocean view was outstanding! On Tuesday evenings, there is belly dancing!

The views from the dining room are better than the St. Regis. You can hear the surf.

The owner really cares about guests. The hostesses are very friendly. The servers are knowledgeable. I think they offer the best service on the island.

We enjoy eating here at lunch. I cannot vouch for dinner. The mojitos are great. The burgers are my favorite on the island.

Our last night was spent at the bar. Leona is just the most amazing person!!!
