“Hanalei Pizza”

Good sized slices, and pretty good pizza; easily a four out of five! I had the pepperoni, and the sauce was flavorful but not overpowering, and there was plenty of pepperoni and cheese.

“Crazy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

The pizza at Hanalei Pizza is thick crusted and pretty good but at $30 a pie my kids learned a great Economics lesson of supply and demand. Regardless of the principle of supply and demand $30 for a pizza was really disappointing to say the least. Maybe if the pie came with the chance of winning a golden ticket would it possibly be worth double what you normally pay for pizza. Do the right thing and charge an honest price!

“Just fine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

The best part of our experience here was getting a giant cheese pizza for $8 since the owner said it was overcooked!! We just went in for some slices because our kids were starving but ended up with a whole pizza for about the same price as 2 slices. And, we used the leftovers for lunch on the plane going home - wrapped up the slices in foil, put them in the freezer, and they were thawed by lunchtime the next day and tasted MUCH better than airport food. Good pizza and a really enthusiastic owner.

“Great Pizza in Hanelei”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here on our first night on Kauai. Ordered two large pizzas; one was a Royal Hawaiian and the other was Wild pig. Both were yummy! They don't sell any beer or wine but they do allow you to bring your own (BYOB) if you choose. Not much seating inside (its also too hot inside) but there are tables to sit outside. Each large pizza is about $30 which is a little high by mainland standards but not so bad for Hawaiian standards. This is a great place to grab a pizza on your way back from the beach. They also sell pizza by the slice. We will definitely be back!

“Good Pizza - Expensive for Pizza (but you are in Hawaii)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

It was good pizza but not great. Good for a night in but expensive considering you are just getting a pizza.
