We went on this adventure on Halloween. The crew had on costumes and were in a festive mood. Captain Jeff did a fantastic job pointing out landmarks with both the scientific explanations and the hawaiian lore. And, he highlighted it with the perfect music for both a sea adventure and halloween. One highlight was the barking dog island with the song "Who let the dogs out" to emphasize. Snorkeling was just so so but we saw lots of spinner dolphins and lots of beautiful sights. I love learning about the places that I'm at in a fun way. Kudos to Jeff and crew!

We absolutely loved our boat tour. We saw dolphins and sea turtles as well as the most beautiful views of the coast. It was amazing to be able to zip in and out of the ocean caves. Our boat captains, Jake and Colin, were phenomenal and provided a local perspective that was really fun! Really no issues with sea sickness, and would highly recommend over a catamaran, as it provided the up close and intimate tour we were looking for!

Captain Skye and Colin were phenomenal and made for a great day!!! Great stories, great lunch, great snorkeling, and lots to see up and down the Napali coast. We had previously done the Navy seal raft ride with Capt Andy's, and much preferred this tour company.

If you're on the fence with motion sickness, like sometimes you're fine and sometimes you're not, I can say this: really, really consider choosing a different adventure.

The staff was fun, knowledgable, kind, and talented, but they totally underplayed how seasick a person could get.

They also never described the fact that the raft will stop when you're out in the water. We stopped to look at dolphins (there were about 10 of them, right next to us! It was beautiful to everyone else, and it was *objectively* beautiful to me, but what it meant for me was that my stomach was subjected to the waves bobbing up and down, up and down, in a stationary motion in the water, meaning that after that, it was allll over. I spent the rest of the 2 hour journey (each way!) hanging on to the side of the raft and puking off the back in front of 12 strangers.

The water was particularly rough he day we went out, and so that's something to consider. But a warning about that would have gone a long way. They did say that motion sickness could happen, but said I'd probably be fine if i took Dramamine (I took it) but I honestly could never even see the beautiful sea caves that they got into because I was already so sick at the time.

Anyway. My finance had a great time! He snorkled and found sea turtles and said that the Na Pali coast was "achingly beautiful." But do not do it if you are prone to motion sickness, and do not let your ego get in the way.

We Had such a good time during the sunset dinner cruise. Captain Jeff had 30 years experience and very knowledgeable about the Pali coast. The cruise list of over four hours with you today seeing dolphins and spectacular sunset.

We were fortunate enough to go in the Nepali Coast Rafting Tour! We had reserved the tour early in our stay in Kauai. The morning of the tour was pouring rain and we were very thankful our tour was cancelled. We rescheduled and enjoyed perfect weather later in the week. Captain Shawn and Junior are both Kauai born Hawaiians who gave us a memorable tour of the beautiful Nepali Coast. We enjoyed stories of the history along with corny jokes. Mama Ocean gave us the extra thrill. Truly an beautiful and exciting way to see the Nepali Coast. Be aware that in the winter months the beach landing and snorkeling are weather permitting. It should probably be emphasized more when you book the tour. The conditions were not good for snorkeling. The clear waters typically have 80 feet on visibility. Since we were out in somewhat choppy conditions we did not snorkel. We did enjoy the beach landing however the day before they were not able to either. Regardless we absolutely didn’t feel like we were slighted at all, Captain Shawn made up for it with our visits with the Hawaiian spinner Dolphins and stories of the people of Kauai.

Fantastic adventure. Definitely suggest doing this and would highly recommend the raft adventure over the catamaran so you can go inside the sea caves. The beach landing wasn't anything extraordinary, but you did get a bit of a break off the boat (with a bathroom), plus got some history and to taste a local fruit. The water was too murky to go snorkeling which was disappointing (and no partial refund was provided), but I understand that the crew and tour company can't control the weather and conditions. The boat ride was pretty smooth and definitely an adventure in and of itself as it is quite fast so you get to hold on with your hands and feet to keep you in the boat (not scary, just exhilarating and takes a few minutes to get comfortable with). We saw three pods of spinner dolphins which was fantastic!
Lastly, I can't say enough about our captain Jake. I have traveled to many places and dons tons of tours, but he really shined as a guide (really the captain, but he also led much of the guiding and commentary along the tour). Plus our trip was on Halloween so he and Noah dressed up adding an element to the trip (especially compared to most of the other boats that didn't dress up. If you go, I highly recommend specifically asking for Jake as your captain.

I really enjoyed this tour and the Crew was fantastic! My wife and I did the Na Pali Coast and Dinner Cruise. We have been on many boat tours and this was the best crew ever! they were so helpful and attentive to everyone! Captain Kauai was also awesome with many stories and great information and history. He even maneuvered our 60' boat right under a waterfall so a couple on our boat, that were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, could do the Hawaiian tradition and kiss under this waterfall. The personal touches and showing that that cared really made the trip extra special.

This is not a sit-down dinner cruise, so don't go into it believing it is. The tour company serves drinks (soft drinks, beer, and mai tais) on the trip to the cliffs along with some light snacks (salami, fruits, cheese, pretzels). The captain will narrate during some of the tour offering great information about the island, the coastline, the military installation, and the history of the Na Pali Coast. Time at the cliffs is a bit limited, but the vertical cliffs are magnificent ! As a side note, drive to the top of Waimea Canyon to Pu'u O Kila and Kalalau Lookouts to see the coast from the top!
The catamaran ride is smooth, dependent on ocean conditions, and comfortable. You will find seating on the top deck, in the front one deck down, along both sides, as well as inside. A hint here is to sit on the starboard side (right side facing the front of the catamaran) as the coast will be on that side on the outgoing trip, and the sunset will be on that side on the return trip.
The dinner was excellent. I don't know if their menu is constant, but we had teriyaki chicken, vegetables, rice, rolls, tossed salad, and cookies. All of it was delicious. Don't expect eating to be an easy task! The captain has turned for home and the boat is moving at a good clip. The bouncing on waves along with the wind make for an interesting meal -- but everyone will enjoy it.
We had a great day for the sunset. There were enough clouds to make the colors even more spectacular. Very cool.
If you go, here are some considerations. Parking for this tour is in the same general location as parking for several other tours that go out at the same time as well as some other businesses in the area. Parking spots seem to be plentiful, but be aware there will be many tourists parking at the same general time. Remember, you are going out on the ocean, so expect a bumpy ride and plenty of wind. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions for the day, a hat (tight fitting) and a coat may come in handy. There is no specific place for bags on the boat, though there are lots of places to leave one during the cruise. You will be asked to remove your shoes before getting on the boat. They do not require this, but they do request it. While we did not get wet on our cruise, certain water and wind conditions could create a fair amount of splash and spray, so be prepared.
The trip out to the cliffs takes a while -- probably an hour and a half. Time under the cliffs is a bit limited. The point is, a majority of this cruise is a boat ride to and a boat ride back from the cliffs. You do not get to spend a great deal of time at the site. Just be aware of this before you sign up.
That being said, this was a great tour! We went during an unusual dry spell for the island, so there were few waterfalls, but we saw goats on the cliffs and a sea turtle. This is nature at its best, so not everyone will see the same things or have the same adventure. I recommend it to anyone (younger children may be a bit bored for a good part of it).
