This was a beautiful, quiet Resort with everything a person could want. Friendly, helpful staff, complimentary tours, beautiful landscapes, golf courses, shopping, pools. You don't even need to leave here to enjoy your vacation

Our family enjoyed our vacation stay at The Bay Club for 8 days in September. It was very confortable and peaceful with great hospitality of The Bay Club staff. We also enjoyed daytime and evening events and pool side live music.

Went as a Hilton Grand Vacation owner. shuttles to king and queen markets. Food market @ Queen's Market provided all food for kitchen in our wonderful suite that had kitchen, dining and living rooms. Stay out of first floor for to get views of golf course and mountains. Planned social events and tennis throughout the week. do get a rental car.

Room Tip: Do not get a second floor. Get 3rd floor if possible.

Our recent vacation experience was one of the most restful trips we have ever had. It was great to be in Hawaii again and to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. The Bay Club was a wonderful place to visit and it's recent updates made our stay a little more like home. The staff was very attentive and assisted us with everything we needed. It was also great to have amenities like the gym, spa and stores located close to the property. This is an ideal place for any type of vacation!!

The Bay Club at Waikoloa Beach offers very nice suites and a great location. Typical bar food and drinks are available at the pool, and if you don't want to eat out every meal the kitchen is great. Check out the farmers market at Kings Shops on Wednesdays. You can get by with walking or the shuttle service, but get a car to see the rest of Big Island.

We are timeshare owners at the Bay Club. The entire project has been recently refurbished. We were in a 2 bedroom suite which had ample room for at least six people altough we were only two. There are several restrauants nearby, and two expensive markets. A better choice is to drive to Waikoloa and do your shopping. "A" bay is nearby which is a great place to swim and for children. We enjoy the Kohala coast and all that the Big Island has to share. A short drive Kona provides additional dining choices.

Room Tip: Not really an issue as the condo rooms are basically identical.

Great resort although it is a little isolated being about 30 minutes to Kona. The place is huge and even though they have a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes a car is recommended. We had a corner two bed unit that overlooked the pool from one side of the balcony and the mountains and golf course on the other. Other than one bedroom having a King and the other two doubles they both were the same and also had ensuite baths with separate tub, shower and toilet. We checked in Sept. 5 and it has been very quiet. We have never seen more than 12 people in the pool and somedays have it all to ourselves. There is a small beach behind the Hilton that has public access which you could take the shuttle to a spot nearby and walk in but a car makes more sense.
The only complaint about the unit was that some kitchen equipment was not supplied but the new appliances and granite counter tops were a nice treat.
There is a grocery store in the Queen,s Marketplace but with milk at $9 a gallon, bananas $1.99 lb, fresh bread at $8 a loaf avoid this place like the plague. Their are two grocery stores in Waimea (30 min) and grocery stores in Kona as well as Wal Mart, Target and Costco. What you spend on gas will more than make up for what you would have spent at the resort. The grocery store in Waikoloa Village is reasonable and only an 8 mile drive.
The stores in the Queen's Marketplace are the worst price gougers I have ever seen with prices more than double for the same item in Hilo or Kona. Macey's has a small store in the King's Marketplace which are high end stores such as Coach and Tiffany. The Macey's store was small and only sold clothing but at mainland prices and was the
only store in the resort that actually had things on sale.

Room Tip: Try to get into a two storey building as you have pre-assigned parking that is covered. All of thes...
