At most the hotels near Waikola the merchants provide a shuttle to and from the shops which is great except for the employee who drives it. He could care a less if he is late. He is supposed to pick up every 20 min. When he is late parks the at the Hilton and disappears If I was a merchant subsidizing this I would be pissed I did not know business is so good that shuttle service can piss off customers who are headed to the shops. We decided not to ride it again to bad for the merchants. I spoke to security guard and he is supposed to have his radio on he just refuses so much for safety!

I did visit though, this place is not a resort, its fun park with accommodation, majorly amazing, extensive landscaping and gardens, multiple huge waterfalls and pools, some animal exhibits, dolphins, a large lagoon, free monorail and boat transport across the resort, worth a visit even if you're not staying - beautiful - we had lunch at the bistro near the big pools (east end)

Wonderful Hilton Property. Our condo was large and pristine. Beds and linens excellent and baths immaculate!...There are several properties owned by Hilton and we could use the facilities at all of them. The Hilton Hotel and Spa was unbelieveable.....Stay and enjoy all the things these resorts have to offer....Loved it....Thanks

The resort offers many beautiful views of the ocean and it's private lagoon from its nearly 70 acres. With that being said, plan lots of transit time from your room to the parking lot or main entrance. It was a nearly 15 minute walk from our room in the Ocean tower to the parking lot near the main entrance. The train isn't any faster, even if you don't have to wait for it, as it has frequent stops and it's highest speed is only slightly faster than walking. Wait times can be up to 15 minutes.

It's not the place to go if your idea of a vacation doesn't include many children nearby. The food is also easily twice the price off the resort and much of it has a 'tired' feel, especially near the Ocean Tower.

DO NOT waste your money on the Luau!

All things considered, I would consider staying there again.

This resort is really beautiful. At night there are several places where fire tables are available to sit around and take in the sunset. The staff is so friendly. There is also a great shopping area that has some very unusual clothing, jewelry, etc. Truly enjoy going to this resort.
