We ate here twice because it was so wonderful. The first time we got fish and the second time we got meat and both were fabulous. The spiced edamame instead of bread is a nice touch. Great service. Excellent food. Make sure you get the chocolate lava cake. Wow, wow, wow!

We were able to have a fantastic meal with our kids...they do an excellent job catering to families. The kids are served in 4 courses ($13). Cheese Quesadillas and pineapple were brought out for the kids shortly after we were seated, followed by apples, carrots, and ranch. The main course arrived shortly before ours, followed by a cookie ice cream sandwich.

For those of you from the mainland the Roys in Hawaii are still owned by Roy. On the mainland they are owned by a chain. So don't say we have Roys at home because they are really different.

The Roy's at the Kings shops is always consistent, and friendly. The food is very creative and has many menu options for different varieties of tastes.

Wonderful wine list and creative cocktails.
My favorite meal is the meat loaf and my wife loves getting the fresh fish that they serve there. Food is always amazing and fresh. Have been to this Roy's over 40 times and have never been disappointed.

Prices are high but well worth the experience. Wonderful view of the Golf Course and Large ponds and they do a first class job hiring their employees.

Wish they had outdoor seating.

We ate here after eating at the one in Kauai. I had the ribs and my wife had fish. I thought the food was good a little on the expensive side but we already knew Roy's wasn't cheap.. Bring your wallet ad expect a good meal and service.

The food was delicious as usual - the Canoe for Two appetizer is A LOT of food and very, very good. My husband and I decided to share a dinner salad and also the Macadamia Crusted Hawaiian Mekajiki and the fish was tasty, but had too much sauce. The Melted Hot Chocolate Soufflé was outstanding.

We made reservations and were seated at a table by the window. It was very nice as it was sunset and the restaurant was just beginning to get busy. But once the restaurant fills up, it becomes extremely noisy and you have to talk loudly just to carry on a conversation. Our waiter was horrible. He was cranky and kept touching our silverware as he was going over the menu specials (weird!). The busboy and food runner we had was awesome and we tipped him instead of our waiter. Our waiter never came by to see how our food was or if we needed anything. He was so awful we spoke to the manager about him.

If you are thinking of going there for dinner, make a reservation to avoid a long wait time, request a table by the window and go earlier rather than later...before it gets loud and noisy!
