Pueo is in a back corner of a shopping center uphill in Waikoloa Village. What they have saved on rent, they seem to have put into fine food. Everyone else in my party had the Fra Diavolo and marveled at the variety and quantity of the seafood. I had the mushroom pizza with truffle oil. We were all happy and more. The wine list is long and interesting. The room is noisy and full of people; reservations and necessary. Our waiter knew the food and the wine; Service was excellent without being fussy. It may have been the best dinner I've had on the Big Island. We forgot the cannoli we ordered to take with us; they called and had it ready for us to pick up the next morning. Where do you find this attention to fist-time guests?
