“Get out of the resort and try this place!”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Nice people, good coffee (local Kona) and great breakfast including their pull-aparts (cinnamon rolls) and eggs Benedict.

I had left the resort in search of a local restaurant as I get REALLY sick of the resort/crusie ship dining after about a day and went in search of something local. After driving by a few chains I was about to give up when I found this place and was glad I did. Ate here 3 times in the 7 days we were on the island.

We went to the one near Waikoloa Village (up the road from Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours) 68-1845 Waikoloa Rd.
Waikoloa, HI 96738.

“Great place for breakfast”

Had the kahlua pork/grilled pineapple wrap - yum! Friendly service and nice little spot to sit outside and wake up...walking distance from Paniolo Greens.

“First-rate coffee shop!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

My wife and I ate here several times in the week we spent at Paniolo Greens in Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii. They make a great Eggs Benedict (several variations), and they have a really nice selection of cookies. They also make a very nice Greek Salad. Overall, one of the nicest casual dining spots on the Big Island.

“So So...”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Figured we'd give this place a try since we live right around the corner. There were two tables taken when we got there and a couple people on the inside. There was only one guy taking orders at the counter and making coffee so we waited a bit at the counter. Menu was decent, it had good choices.

I would give this place a higher rating if first off our spoon didn't have some old crusty crap on it...who knows what that was. Secondly we were the only ones who ordered food at the time..another family came after us and yet they got our order wrong. We ordered the Ali'i Chicken Sandwich and the Fish Tacos. Order came out as the chicken sandwich and a fish sandwich. Just ended up eating what we got and luckily both of them tasted really good. So we didn't say anything about the mix up. We also got the side salad and the soup of the day with our sandwiches. The soup was tomato bisque and it was delicious. Wish i ordered a big bowl of it.
