“Best of the Luau's”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

ok, I have a confession, I don't really enjoy luau's. However, my friend does and he often wants us to go. So as far as Luau's go, this was really the best and most interesting. The buffet was not bad and the show was well done.

“Good updated show, good food, but a bit disorganized at serving time & overpriced for teen”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

The morning of the luau we went down to watch the Imu preparation ceremony. Don't miss this, it was really cool to watch. We have went to the luau several times and they finally changed the show up some this year, which was good for repeat guests. The price for a teen was the same as an adult, $104.It irks me because the adult ticket includes 2 cocktails, but for teens (mine was 13) they cannot get a drink, yet still pay a full adult fare. The food was good but we waited an hour to go into the line and line butting was not enforced. You are directed to the 1 lone buffet line by a staff member, but the Asians scattered about the 20+ tables, bascially acted like they didn't understand and just got up and got their food so everyone else had to wait. Very disorganized & may be much smoother if more than 1 buffet table line had been set up. We also got drinket tickets (2) and when you walk in, there are Mai Tais, & Blue Hawaiians on a tray, making one believe these are your only choices. All were getting warm and sweating. When we sat down we realized there was an extensive drink selection so that was kind of disappointing. The short ribs were awesome, the macaroni salad was awesome, the huli huli chicken was very good, the fish was very good (it got cold by the time we arrived), they ran out of the guava and taro rolls by the time we got to the line, and the desert selection was fantasticI thin I would have given it a much higher rating if there had just been a little less confusion. We got there at 5pm as suggestion, we were #2 in line, waited 45 minutes to be seated, and then another hour to get our food. That was just my complaint. And that happened mainly because of all the people not following the directions. I think no one does it better than the Old Lahina Luau on Maui, but this one is still #2, and trust me, I've been to a LOT of luaus on all the islands.

“Food is amazing!”

Dancers are fantastic! Glad to be in Hawaii! Food is the best because we got served and it was a buffet. We were in the VIP table and the servers are very nice.

“Ok luau”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

For the kids. LOUD. But an ok time. Not on a beach. Pay for the upgraded seats. Bring a camera that can do low light.
