Call Doug if you want a great diving experience when you're in Waikoloa A-Bay at the Marriott. Doug and his son James treated us great, took us to several good places over a 3 day period. We did swim-throughs, saw lots of great coral, dolphins tracking us next to the boat, saw an eagle ray, turtles, a couple sharks, and had a great diving experience using these guys. They are real easy to work with and make you feel right at home. They're very accomodating.

The Waikoloa Coast divers is the perfect outfit. They are a small group with only a single boat which means no big groups or the " cattle car" dive boats. We dove with no more than 4 of us. They have a knowledgable, professional crew that took their time with us. We have been diving for 10 years so they let us do our thing. They showed us several things to see and told us places to go and what to look for and then just let us go. The next day some of the divers with us weren't as experienced so they spent tons of personalized attention with them. We can't say enough good things about Doug, Brooke, Gaile and captain Bob. Thank you guys! We'll be back!

If you're looking to dive in Waikoloa then look no further, Doug, James, Brooke and Gail really looked after us. The boat equipment they provided was excellent, they really know the dive sites and where to look for all the sea life (they found us plenty of white tip reef sharks, octopus and eagle rays to name but a few) and they were really personable and a joy to dive with. They certainly made our holiday one to remember, thanks guys and we hope we get the opportunity to dive with you all again.

I had been looking around for a company to dive with on the Big Island. The top reviewed dive shops were either too far north or south of our condo in Waikoloa Village. After a little searching, I found Waikoloa Coast Divers, which was very close to where we were staying. The dive locations listed on their website sounded interesting, so I booked a 2 tank dive for the next day.

The conditions that day were less than ideal. It was windy and on the verge of being cold, the surface was choppy, the visibility was ok but not great, and there was a lot of underwater surge. Despite all that, I had a really fun time! I saw a lot of cool fish (Puffers, a giant manta ray, a baby white tip reef shark, tropical reef fish, etc) there was vibrant, healthy coral everywhere, and we swam through underwater caves and arches. On the way to the second dive site, we stumbled on a large pod of spinner dolphins. It was amazing to see them swim along with the dive boat, jump out of the water, and do their thing. (Which is spin!) There were even some baby dolphins along with the adults.

I would definitely dive with them again. Doug was really cool, Brook was a great diving instructor/buddy, and James was an amazing captain. The dive boat was spacious and comfortable.

One note: There isn't a dive shop. I met them near the activities shack at Anaeho'omalu beach, which I believe is affiliated with the Waikoloa Beach Marriott.
