“I like my Starbucks but...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

We found that when they were very busy, the employees were not always helpful and seemed to be upset when youasked for something a little different.

“Starbucks Is Starbucks- How Reassuring”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

Yes, Starbucks is Starbucks, but we find that reassuring. We are big promoters of independently owned and operated businesses on the island. In fact we provide free locally grown Kona coffee from downesgrounds to all of our overnight guests at hawaiigolfcondo located across the street from Starbucks in the Waikoloa Beach Villas. Downesgrounds is a family owned and run coffee farm on the island. Great coffee. Still, we enjoy walking over to get a morning or afternoon latte at Starbucks. The service is friendly and the latte is consistent and familiar . Sometimes we just sit at their outside tables or wander around the shops at the Queens shopping center. Other times we take our lattes, beach chairs and go over to A-Bay and enjoy our coffee at the beach.
My local Starbucks in Lone Tree, CO doesn't offer this option- LOL!

“Just like expected!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

They were always busy, always had a smile and worked like crazy in the morning to get you served. We went there every morning on our way out on day trips and they always were patient with everyone and tried hard to keep things moving quick too.

“Not a very friendly staff”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

This Starbucks could use a little "Aloha Spirit" They were so unfriendly, I realize that you get busy when the hotels and condos in the area are busy, but there's no need to be unpleasant or nasty. They ran out of sandwiches very early in the morning and then were very put out that I took a second to choose my alternative.
