My family and I have been to the Big Island a number of times and normally stay in vacation rentals. This time we got a deal through our Hawaiian Miles Credit Card to stay at Kings Land Resort. It was Amazing. The whole "village" is beautiful. There is so much to do there. We did other things like visit Waimea and Kona but you could potentially stay at the hotel your whole visit and have a wonderful time. I was blown away by the Kings Land Pool area. It was beautiful, had several water slides and waterfalls. We have three kids 5 and under and they had a blast at the kiddy pool area. The water only came up to my shins so I didn't have to worry about them accidentally going in water that was too deep! Such a relief! plus the mini slide/ toys/ water spouts kept them occupied for hours. They have activities going on every day. We participated in quite a few. Ex) lei making. Some of them were a little too difficult for my kids (ages 5, 4, 2) but they had fun none the less. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. If anything was wrong or we need assistance they were on top of it and got things done in a timely fashion. Overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend it to others

I loved staying here. It was one of the most quiet hotel/resort stays of my life. We slept with the windows open every night. There was nothing but golf course and lava rock out the window (no other buildings) and we heard wind in the palm trees, the myna birds and sprinklers, that was it. Clean, well appointed, comfortable. Very helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful resort, all accommodations fully met and the people are friendly and prompt to accommodate any concerns. The pools for each building (there were several) were top-notch with a water slide and waterfall. Not to mention the size of the pool at the Club House. The the master suite was awesome - large soaking tub, huge shower and so much room - We also enjoyed the patio and large kitchen/dining/kitchen area. The staff were friendly, accommodating and prompt with any requests.

We stayed here for a week as part of a timeshare promotion. We listened to the 90 minute presentation, which was not for us, and then enjoyed our week. We arrived late on a Friday night, check in took all of 5 minutes, we were in a 2 bedroom on the 3rd floor in building 25. Our balcony overlooked the golf course. The condo was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. It was nice to have the full size stove and fridge. There was a smaller pool right outside our complex which we used almost daily. We did go to the larger pool several times at the clubhouse and it was nice as well. The kids (and adults) liked the waterslides. We had access to the bigger Hilton resort but only went down there 1 night, we felt it was too large. We liked the size of Kingsland better.

The room was very large and roomy. The view from our balcony both morning and evening were amazing. There was always a wonderful breeze blowing, so refreshing. Nenes greeted us every morning and 'chatted' a bit. Loved them! Then came the goat parades. They were such a pleasure to watch. So fun were the little kids, so playful and enjoying themselves. The area is gorgeous with native plants, trees and flowers. Beauty beyond imagination. Loved it all.

Room tip: We were on the second floor close to both stairs and elevator. No complaints. We were so pleased with everything.
