Very nice place .. good for families. Only thing weak is the fitness room, not very much of a variety of equipment - but nice and clean and new. Lacking in basic store offering, nothing to speak of on site at all. Not even a newspaper

I own at Kings' Land but did not look forward to the trip since it was not on the ocean. I was pleasantly surprised. What a great spot ! It was immaculate. Staff was helpful and provided for every need. There is a lovely public beach nearby which I enjoyed. The important thing that I did not realize is how calm and restful it could be! There is something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the terrific bellmen who went above and beyond by transporting me to restaurants etc nearby and the fabulous restaurant at the Hilton Hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kingsland. We used our HGVC ownership points to rent a 2 bedroom condo with hardwood floors and high end appliances. The pool was amazing. (Love adult pool) Having chosen these accommodations over renting 2 hotel rooms at the Hilton hotel saved us money on food and was a better experience for the entire group of 4 adults. The staff and amenities were 5 star. Nice property!

Room Tip: Make sure to book "Phase 1" for 5 star rooms. We saw "phase 2" and it was small...

A very relaxing time with great amenities. The pools were very comfortable but wish they would stay open longer. The Condo had everything you needed and the porch had a fairway view and lava rocks. we were also able to bbq a couple of times. We have already recommended to friends

This is our home resort so I booked through open season at a ridiculously low rate per night for 4 nights after 8 nights on Kauai to round out our Hawaiian mid-winter vacation. We've been to the Big Island many times before so we opted to just stay by the pool and hit a few favorites and 1 new restaurant for dinner (see Brown's Beach House review).

This resort was perfect for our stay because it offered a relaxing atmosphere both in the unit (1 bedroom plus) and on the grounds (pool, bistro, bar etc.). Our unit was in Building 5, our new favorite building. We decided not to save money by booking in the Phase 2 buildings (21 and 22) because the 1-bedrooms are all on the parking lot side.

I was surprised at how comfortable and roomy the 1 bedroom unit was in building 5. We had stayed in 2-bdrm units before. We didn't hear any noise from above or below (we were on the 2nd floor). We saw a lot of older couples and very few children during our stay. Lots of folks took advantage of the water and jazzercise classes as well as tai chi on the lawn.

Glad the property has offered more musical entertainment and hula including a Luau. We weren't on the property for that unfortunate. I would have been interested in that.

We took advantage of the buffet breakfast at the bistro. Cheaper than the 30 dollar buffet at the hotel. I didn't really care about the price. 1st one was bogof (buy one get one free :) and if I didn't have to cook, that's ok with me. Scrambled Eggs, Bacon or Portuguese Sausage, fruit, white rice, toast, waffles coffee, tea, juice, pancakes, muffins. All you can eat, feel free to grab seconds.

Was the pool chilly? Sure it was but the week before they had a lot of rain and if you were exercising in the water, the temp was perfectly ok.

I simply love this resort. We would love to spend an extended amount of time here. Can't say enough good stuff about this place. Love it! Wish I could be there right now instead of chilly March in NJ.

Even though there isn't a beach at this resort, because it's a condo complex, there are several gorgeous beaches are very close by. A-bay, beach 69, Hapuna to name a few.

Check out John Keawe at the Kings' Shops on Tuesday nights. He's awesome!!!! So is his wife, Hope. She dances while he plays and for a real treat the granddaughters dance too.
We ate at Merriman's Market Cafe which was very nice. 3 Fat Pigs in Kings' Shops received rave reviews from a poll in Hawaii Magazine.

Anyway, if you want a peaceful resort that works for couples and families, this is the place. The staff is very nice, the condo was spotless, bed very comfortable. Beautiful views from the lanai.

I was totally fascinated with the lush landscape since we've never been during the winter. Lots of plants not in bloom during the summer caught my eye and my camera.

Room Tip: Building 5 2nd or 3rd floor. Fun to watch the golfers.

Loved Kingsland. Beautiful resort and all of the employees were wonderful. We will definitely stay there again. We also needed a wheelchair for Mother In Law and they were able to provide us one free of charge.

King's Land is a great hotel location if you are looking for a quiet location to just come back to at the end of the day. The suites are nice and the kitchen has just about everything you need to make dinners "at home". It's in close proximity to a grocery store and the Hilton Village. The hotel pool/hot tub was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. The only downside is that the hotel is not on the beach.
