Kings' Land by Hilton Grand Vacations
Ranked #1 of 7 Hotels in Waikoloa
Certificate of Excellence

The resort met our expectations. Staff is very responsive to any needs. Linens were changed mid week. My husband used the golf course twice and was quite pleased with it. We were lucky with the weather as it can get quite windy. The equipment in the fitness center is up to date.

Go to this place! It's magical! So relaxing and re-energizing! Loved, loved, loved it! The staff and the amenities were first class! So much aloha here! Great property, staff were very engaging. Definitely sign up for the towel buddies class it was so fun!

Room Tip: Enjoy the solitude of the Big Island! This property is a mini Waikoloa! Enjoyed it tremendously...

This is our fourth visit. We stayed in a 1-bedroom condo in block 9. Very quiet, we were not disturbed by others. The unit is adequately furnished although we had to run the dishwasher after every meal. Extra cups might help. We had most meals in the unit, the oven was fine and good for the two of us. Sleeping very comfortable. Service on arrival and all through our stay was excellent. Swimming pools were great - did not find them cold at all, certainly not in comparison with the Hotel pools. Did not use the bistro. Happy hour cocktails were interesting and good value. A car is recommended and essential for exploring the Island, although the half-hourly shuttle takes you to the Hotel and the King's and Queen's shops. The Island Gourmet served our grocery needs, although there are cheaper options in Kona. A-Bay is the nearest beach, although we preferred Hapuna, Spencer, and particularly Kikaua which is ideal for families with small children as it is very sheltered. Limited parking there so arrive at that beach early. We look forward to coming to Kings Land again next year.

Room Tip: I understand that the rooms in blocks 1-11 are larger than those opposite in blocks 21/22. Furthermo...

The resort is gorgeous. We stayed in a 2 bed/2 bath in one of the newest buildings (22). The rooms were great. The entire great room/breakfast area opens to a lanai which walked us out to some lava, adjacent to the golf course. It was amazing to open the doors in the morning, let fresh air in and watch the sunrise over Mauna Kea.

Pool is beautiful and extensive..the slides are pretty legit and there are numerous hot tubs. Pretty quiet resort, not sure if it was just the time of year. Would be nice if they had a full restaurant, but they do have a bar and a grille where you can order lunch and breakfast (Not sure if they have dinner). Everything seemed to be very laid back.

Went over to the Hilton Waikoloa a few times on the shuttle (free rides), and its a much different vibe. Huge resort and a lot more people. The pool was okay (freezing) but the slides were awesome. The lagoon is neat to swim around in and look for sea turtles, and there is an amazing view of the ocean... however not recommended to get in, lava rock and strong currents.

Would definitely stay at Kings' Land again. If only it had an ocean front property this place would be absolutely incredible. Will definitely need a car if you are going to check out Kona, Volcano Nat'l Park and other places.

The King's Land resort is beautiful but there is no ocean view in sight. You need a car to get away to the beach and to visit other sights on the island. If you have a family this is a great place. The pools are fabulous (warmer than the Waikoloa Hotel but the slide is better over there). I have no complaints about this resort other then I wish i could see the ocean from my room.

We stayed here after a week at the Lagoon Tower at HHV on Waikiki Beach. Quite a let down.
This is a golf property with a pool and bar.
The beach on the resort is really at the Marriott, and it's not that great.
Rooms were nice, spacious and clean.
Bell staff very helpful, especially Junior and Lex.
Pool was great.
If you want to do anything other than play golf or sit by the pool, you need to leave the resort area, which we did quite a bit.

Thank you for your review. I understand that what we have to offer may not appeal to everyone. The beauty of our island and property is definitely reflected in it’s serenity. While we do not advertise our property as a beach front property, the Big Island does possess some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and all without the crowds you may find elsewhere. I definitely appreciate your comments regarding our team members, rooms and pools, and hope that aside from the differences with our Oahu properties, your time with us was enjoyable and relaxing.

We loved our stay at King's Land. You definitely need a car to stay here. But the condo (2 bed / 2 bath) was beautiful, and had all of the amenities of home. We absolutely loved our stay, just wish we were closer to some of the resort amenities.
