“Visited more than once in Volcano”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

Went in once to have a beer at the bar after a day of Zip Lining near the falls, and came back for dinner after an evening at the crater. The entire staff was great on both occasions, several people stopping to talk about the local happenings, food, and things to do. Just a great neighborhood place in an area where most things close early, nice selection of local beers as well as drinks from all over, we had a turkey burger and a teriyaki pineapple burger, both came out great. Everyone on the staff is great, really nice and helpful.

“Sad milkshakes!”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We came by after a long grueling hike looking for milkshakes- simple milkshakes to go! Quick energy! Our choices were an old fashioned chocolate or vanilla, or a choice of fancy fruit milkshakes. We opted for the old fashioned, envisioning thick yummy milkshakes that you would almost pop an eardrum trying to drink! au contraire- it was not to be-thin, watery milkshakes that were terribly expensive! So sad!

“Nice late morning breakfast”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We stopped here one day after our breakfast at our place wore off. We had a late breakfast and it was a friendly place.
It was our first time to try Loco Moco and it was a dish that only a person who likes meat and fat could enjoy. Yep, my husband loved it.

“Good dinner”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

There are only a few choices of restaurants in Volcano. This place had an enormous menu. Hamburgers seem to be the specialty, but they have almost anything you could want. Very family friendly and we felt comfortable in our very casual clothes after a full day of touring and hiking.

“Back to the 50's style!”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

This cafe felt great from the moment we walked in. Half expected The Fonz to appear at one of the booths! Attentive staff offered great service along with a satisfying meal. Tried the Loco Moco and was not disappointed. A local specialty but not for the feint hearted. The desert menu is a real treat and highly recommended.
