The Volcano Teapot is a delightful and charming gem, and so are the gracious owners, Bill and Antoinette. We have been going to the Teapot at different times of the year for many years and each time we are so delighted that we don't want to leave. The cottage is cozy, clean, and the decor takes you back in time. It is equipped with everything you need and more for a super comfortable experience. We love all the details like the fresh tropical flowers, the homemade pastries, the super cozy and comfortable beds, the rocker and warm booties by the fireplace, the antiques, the tea, the enchanting nature paths, and of course the fabulous hot tub in the fern forest. We will return again and again.

We had the pleasure of spending our 10th anniversary in this most delightful cottage. It is situated in a tropical garden in Volcano Village less than a mile from the national park. This 2 bedroom cottage is beautifully decorated. Antoinette and Bill are very attentive and the breakfasts, delivered daily, are outstanding. The gas fireplace/stove makes the entire cottage cozy. The hot tub, a few steps from the cottage, in its own pavillion, was fabulous after a day of hiking in the park. We would highly recommend this cottage!

The Teapot Cottage was perfect! Bill & Antoinette were the perfect hosts. They provided us with great conversation and interesting tips on the area. The cottage was immaculate. Great food and attention to details. The grounds outside were beautiful and a real bonus to the cottage. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

We recently spent some time at the Volcano Teapot Cottage in Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Teapot proved to be a charming and wonderful place for our family of 4 to stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated by the owners, one of which is a tea conniseur and needless to say there were teapots everywhere, even in the gardens which were also idyllic. I would very highly recommend this cottage. It is just a few minutes away from the National Park and a very relaxing, fairytale-like property. The owners are very welcoming and provided us (as well as all their guests, I am sure) with everything we needed to keep us cozy and comfortable and Well-fed in the mornings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our next trip to Hawaii will definitely include a visit to the Teapot.

My husband and I adored spending the beginning of our honeymoon here. Everything was thought of, from the spa to the fresh fruit and baked goods in the morning. The bed was fabulous! We had the best night sleep in ages. It was in a perfect location for us to spend time in the National Park. We felt totally secluded. It is definitely a little piece of heaven!

Teapot B&B ranks a 10 in our book. We spent 4 nights there in early July 2004 and could have stayed longer. We were with our 2 girls age 10 and 12. It is located a couple of miles from the entrance to the Kilauea National Park. That by itself is a huge advantage for the avid sightseer and/or hiker. We spent the evening of July 4th watching the spectacular fury of molten lava dropping into the ocean. We called it nature’s 4th of July fireworks. The hosts, Bill and Antoinette, keep the place IMMACULATE. You can read oodles of testimonials on tripadvisior.com saluting and writing kudos. The rooms are fun, kitchen well stocked, grounds beautiful, hot tub exotic and the feel like being in a home away from home. They certainly achieved their goal in making it a place that we would return to on our next visit to the area. They are wonderful hosts that know a great deal about the area and give you useful advice on everything. They have maps, books, videos etc that you can indulge yourself on. Breakfast is both a daily surprise and pleasure with home made goodies showing up in the kitchen, refrigerator or dining table. Finally, there are great restaurants within 5 minutes of driving such as Kilauea Lodge; Kiawe Kitchen; Thai Thai.
