This is a roadside shop that's take-away based, but they had a variety of sandwiches and homemade goodies (quiche, spaghetti, etc). Not many places to get food in this little town, so we were happy that it was good.

This place isn't the easiest to find, but it is worth it for sure. The place is a small green house on a huge piece of property with a tied up goat.
We ate outside at one of the typical garden like tables. The ladies came out and greeted us and made us feel at home. I would suggest opening your wallet when you come here, however. It is expensive, but the food is delicious.
The menu is all vegetarian with a few vegan options. My husband wasn't in love with the place, but then again, he is a meat eater.
I loved it.

Cafe Ono is hidden away down a small country road. The owner, Ida, has created a little vegetarian delight in the middle of nowhere.
The lasagna comes with soup and salad. Give the dessert a try. Great food and great service with a smile.

This slightly off the beaten path cafe is a must see while in tiny Volcano. There is an obvious effort to make great tasting and healthy food here. Ira Ono himself walks about making sure his guest are happy.

There is an attached art/crafts gallery which is fun to explore while your food is prepared (can take a while with all that love and attention to preparation). Service is great.

Overall, a fun, friendly, and tasty stop for lunch.

Little restaurant, where you eat outdoors, with freshly baked goods at a reasonable price. One sandwich feeds two people.
