“Interesting, just the right amount of info”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2012

This is a very well set up museum. You could go through in a few minutes and get useful information or you could spend longer if you wanted more in depth information. The exhibits are eye catching but don't overwhelm the senses. Since the real exhibits are outside I thought it struck a nice balance.

Information about the volcano was presented in a very interesting way. It's definitely worth taking a look.

A great light show after dark--Definitely the place to be after dark, where the caldera glows red in the night sky.

“This is a MUST DO to the Big Island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

While it's great to see flowing lava or the glow of the fire from afar, at the Jaggar Museum you can get the entire history and diagrams of when Kiluaeu started rumbling. This is also a good location to view steam coming from the caldeura.
