“Wonderful warm ocean swim!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

Easy drive, not too busy. School across street so the children were playing games and having fun in the park. The water in was warm and very comfortable to be in. Safe from the open sea. Loved it!

“Hot Spring Ahalanui”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

We stopped here for lunch after the Kapoho Tidal Pools. Quiet area. The "pool" was around 85 degrees(bath water). Very relaxing. Some sea life in the pool. Nice crashing waves from the seawall. Saw some kids surfing at the next cove down.

“Great outdoor find on the Big Island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Nice surprise - warm thermal water - super for swimming & relaxing. You should pack a nice picnic lunch and spend a great part of the day there. Closer to Hilo, far from Kona but it is sure worth it.

“Great Place to Swim”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

Ahalanui has a nice size swimming pool with a surprise - its heated by underground hot springs. Great place to get in the water but out of the surf.

“warm pond for swimming or snorkling”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

A good amount of colorful fish swimming around your feet (the pond is not deep). There are outdoor showers and a lifeguard.
