Owner description: An authentic, diversified family farm. We specialize in hand-crafted, artisanal, 100% Hawaiian products including macadamia nuts that are dehydrated rather than roasted so they taste more like the fresh macadamia nut right out of the shell, unique varieties of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, award-winning 100% Ka'u coffee, and several varieties of raw, natural Hawaiian honey. On a visit to the farm you can meet the farmers, take a brief free tour (including our Aquaponic greenhouse), learn about honey, coffee and macadamia nut production, meet our 5 parrots, and sample all of our delicious products.

“A perfect stop a stretch and samples.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2013

We stopped by this little roadside stand for a walk around and some fresh fruit. The girl at the stand was very pleasant and gave us free samples of honey tasting, Coffee's and a bunch of their specialty macadamia nut samples. We also purchased fresh papaya and fresh bananas right from the tree.
If you are interested in hydro-ponic gardening you can get a tour. Interesting note that they use a fish pond to water the plants and fertilize all at once.
So take a few minutes and get off the dusty trail (road down to South Point) and have a fresh picked banana and a nice walk around. P.S. They also have some beautiful Macaws to see.

“Land of Coffee and Honey”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

We first stumbled on Paradise Meadows when we intently driving to South Point to see the ancient Hawaiian canoe platforms. The sign beckoned us with the promise of honey and coffee. When we got there, we found kind people, exotic birds, beautiful hand-painted notecards, THE BEST COFFEE ON THE ISLAND, and two or three different kinds of honey.
I remember all of this because I went back in 2012 on my solo trip and plan to return every year.
Did I mention that they have the best coffee? It's Kau coffee--not Kona. I don't know whether it's the extra heat and sun or the beautiful dark roasting, but Paradise Meadows coffee is the Porsche Boxter of coffee in a place known for Cadillac coffee. Also, we use their honeys all year 'round (in coffee, too), and they sustain our hopes and dreams of getting back to the Big Island as soon as we can. Check it out: http://www.paradisemeadows.com/
