“Never had gelato, but it was good.”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

We had the chocolate, macadamia nut, and coffee gelato. And it was super tasty. My husband and I shared a small cup size, and I'am glad we did, because it was a lot of us. Having never had gelato before, this was really good. The atmosphere was nice, and it was very clean, and neat. The lady at the counter was really friendly, and nice. If we ever are in the area we would diffidently be back, or are craving some gelato.

“Surprising great gelato on a tropical isla nd.”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

I have eaten Gelato all over the world. Gio's is certainly worth searching out. The owner Gio is from norther Italy so his pastry is very influenced by the Vienesse style, very different than the more southern Italian Americans are familiar with. Exotic Italian in coffee country Hawaii. You won't forget it .

“Tasty Breakfast. Fantastic coffee.”
Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here for breakfast and had delicious croissants with eggs, bacon, tomato and salad on it. The cappuccino was excellent and creamy. The espresso was awesome. We also tried a couple of the sweet Italian style stuff which is all made there. The owner is an Italian from Turino and a very friendly guy. We can definately recommend Gio's for breakfast

“I wish it was better.”
Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

We've tried gelato around the world and wish Gio's was better. All the flavors we got were WAY to sweet (which greatly takes away from the creaminess). Two adults and two kids couldn't even finish "kid size" cups?!? Unheard of in our family, but true at Gio's.

Fly over to Maui and try Ono Gelato! We dream about it when we're not in the islands.
