“Best Biggest Chocolate Covered Balls on the Island”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

Donkey Balls is just plain fun to say but to eat one will have you committed to their presence for the rest of your natural life. afterwards, you may even want to have Donkey Balls at your funeral for guest so they will remember how awesome, fun, and perfect you were as a unique individual unlike anything else on this green earth. Seriously. Great stop for excellent multilayer, chocolate coated, jumbo Macnuts. They dip the nuts repeatedly to get layers of decadence over each nut to create a large chocolate treat that takes this man four bites to complete. Kind of pricey.

Great coffee too. I recommend the medium drip with cream. Very nice cup of joe to get ya going after your trip to the Volcano or any other southern exposure. They make the Donkey Balls right there for you to watch and see. They have plenty free samples too. Cool t-shirts. Every one of my visitors to the island buys one for somebody they know who is bold and daring enough to wear a Donkey Balls shirt. This is a great refuel for coffee and chocolate and the town of Capt. Cook is worthy of a walk to stretch the legs. I rate is as awesome for island treats worth stoping for. Be careful, traffic in town may be tight slow.

“Neat place with local feel. Funny merchandise, friendly staff ...”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Very good tasty treats. Neat little store, with neat history. Great for gifts to bring back home. Worth a vist if you are in the area. Love the tshirts, and seeing a bit of how the chocolate is made in the back room. Yum!

“Quick stop at a novelty shop...”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Friendly service and several samples available. I was expecting a bit more in the store -- like the history of the candy or the artwork, (fictional or historical), but it seemed quite flat with just bags of candy for sale (the "art" was present on the staff working). The candy itself is ok, not exceptional. It's one of those things I do once and then it doesn't need to be repeated.

“Got Balls? These are bigger.”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

A whole mac nut covered in extra thick chocolate! Salty Balls. Blue Balls. Hairy Balls? Pick your style and enjoy the candy. Have a good laugh and bring some home for your friends. Yeah, it is a bit novelty, but have a little fun. The coffee bar is awesome, too.
