“Way more than burgers and beer”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

We really enjoyed eating here. Don't be fooled by the name or the modest exterior. They serve a pretty wide menu, have a full bar (try the LavaMan red ale) nice atmosphere and friendly servers. Give 'em a try.

“Great burgers!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Delicious burgers, really juicy! The purple potato salad was excellent - not too much mayo. Good selection of beer. They say they're the best burgers on the island...I believe it!

“Good Grinds”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

We had the burgers. Delicious. The hamburger meat on the Big Island just tastes better! Good service and liked the atmosphere and decor. It seemed a little pricey but it was very good.

“Great place for lunch”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

We had visited Hula Daddy Coffee farm in the morning and did not want to go all the way to Captain Cook - after considering a few other options Annie's seemed to be a good choice - we will return on another trip, and will also try Nasturtium Cafe, Keei Cafe, and Strawberry Patch Cafe - all seem to be better choices than places in Kona. Menu is creative and it was hard to decide since several items sounded/looked appealing - garlic basil fries with aioli were delicious! Mahi on sour dough with wasabi mayo and fried onion was great - good selection of beef hamburgers but also several options if you don't want meat. Anxious to go back.
