Great selection of masks from all over Polynesia. Jewelry, art for the walls, too many things to list, so take enough time to go through the store slowly. There is something in every nook and cranny.

I bought a spirit vessel from an artist in Volcano Village.

It has already been said, but the Wishard Gallery is a surprise and a delight. Eclectic, welcoming, no "pressure to buy"! Wander through and feast your eyes (and spirit) on the vast array of art (and whimsy!) here. The lady who was present (Wendy) was a real joy to interact with - made the visit even better. Hawi is an "interesting" town! Make sure to visit during any stay on the Big Island, and be sure to include the Wishard Gallery!

The Wishard Gallery in Hawi, Hawaii is a lovely surprise. It is interesting and welcoming, including for children. Items are from countries all over the world such as Afghanistan and Korea. However, there are very special local current and historical items as well, including photos of the beautiful Pueo (owl) as well as old bone fishhooks. We left with beautiful earrings and cards after an informative chat with Sharon. We recommend this stop highly.

This gallery is an eclectic mix of original paintings by the gallery owner, Harry Wishard, old Hawaiian artifacts, jewelry and many other beautiful art objects. The original reviews on Trip Advisor places this gallery in Waimea, but it has moved to the small community of Hawi, on route 270 in the North Kohala district. It’s worth the drive to this most northern point on the island. Kawi is a charming small community and the scenery on the north coast is not to be missed!

This gallery/shop is not to be missed. Whoever that is charge of this gallery, is to be commended for his excellent, eclectic, good taste. The prices are expensive to very reasonable. Beautiful photos, painting, objects, antiques. You will feel like you are walking through a museum and want to redecorate your home to accommodate all your lovely new beautiful purchases. Or maybe only a $20 color popping photo of Hawaii.
Located a few doors down from Starbucks. Go and buy something. You won't regret it!
